- The WDR BIG BAND feat. Anat Cohen (clarinet ), Avishai Cohen (trumpet) and Yuval Cohen ( soprano saxophone) with Tiger Rag (K: Traditional, A: Oded Lev-Ari after Anat Cohen). The direction and arrangements in this extraordinary energetic musical project is by Oded Lev-Ari. Produced at WDR Studio 4 / Cologne during the dress rehearsal for the concert "The Three Cohens" (June 2022).

Oh What Joy !!!!! This is a wonderful compendium of energy and humour, wrapped around the classic Tiger Rag format.
I have an original recording from the 1919 visit by the ODJB to London, where they played at the London Palladium a series of concerts, that was to awaken the world to the beauty and sizzling intellectual promise that Jazz music was to bring for future generations. Without doubt, the best clarinet solo on this great tune that I have heard since I played alongside the great Alan Cooper at the Plough in Putney , London in 1991. Congratulations to the whole ensemble, for recording and filming this great upload, and a special thanks to Anat Cohen, for her fabulous solo. Blessings and big hugs to you all.
