Wait how the heck is no one talking about 11:29????? @AnatCohenMusic just trilled and glissando'ed down at the same time. How does one do that?!?
This is beautiful. New favorite artist

Two magic clarinet players! Paquito is of course marvelous! Anat, even though relatively young, for me is an Israeli reincarnation of Tony Scott with a huge dollop of Buddy De Franco. Hints of Klemmer style from the Middle East and a glorious soundscape of jazz riffs that knock my socks off...possibly yours too.

Our response to this magnificent item:
For our dear friends and intercessors,
    For every friend of Israel,
    For the lovers of Zion,
    Hovevei Zion.
    A musical expression,
    A solid concentration,
    A most vivid presentation,
    An inextricable authentication
    Of the Jewish pain,
    Its affliction and wretchedness
Of the Jewish longing and yearning…
    Play, weep and pray…

Beauty - with a snap-shot of New Orleans; isn't it?
"Father" and "daughter" - clarinetists supreme!
This rhythmic mood also suits James Carter nicely for his clarinettic aerobics and techniques.

    Such a great performance!
Anat is a young and great musician and Paquito, well, that’s one of the greatest saxophones and clarinet players with (I believe) 14 Grammys under his belt and this is another of his always fantastic presentations. I saw him last Wednesday, January 9th at the Amaturo Theater in Fort Lauderdale with the Shelly Berg Trio and it was, of course, a magnificent concert.

Paquito the one and only! Ops, I almost forgot Chocolate Armenteros, I will never ever in my life forget the best Afro Cuban jazz show I saw in a church upper west Manhattan, more than 20 musicians on stage including: Paquito, Patato, Titto, Mario and many more, an unforgetable night. Acustic, it was 1988-89, I believe 1989. Anat you are also very great !!!

I played clarinet when I was a kid and later switched to saxophone which I've played all my life. All I can say is, the clarinet is a very difficult instrument to play well. Anat and Paquito make it look effortless here, and their playing is brilliant and beyond category. Bravo! Madam and monsieur.

I met Anat Cohen and she was so cordial and very beautiful tired in a town folks play for gas money. Lol. But a all women artists was so great with her Detroit' 'Hot' Style. Paquito my hero from day one on alto but busted out and plays jazz clarinet and keeps it going. Amazing collaboration. Ashamed I didnt hear great clarinet jazzmen when I took lessons on the instrument.

To answer someone s comment, part of the reason they are able to give so much its because they have the motor. (The rhy section). So they are free to go anywhere they want. With a lame piece of SH rhy section you cant express nothing. You just play to survive.....Meredith Walker have a great day.
