It is the cutest drama this year. I attribute it entirely to the main leads. They were cute in their respective shows last year, they deliver the same feeling here, to the point that the plot doesn't matter(if it's not annoyingly stupid). Very light and addictive. The Imperial coroner is much more interesting but more savory than sweet. I created harmony in my heart by watching them at the same time.
@@saniyyaahussain9936 Great to meet you as well! I love Avenuex's comment section because I find so many good commentaries, recommendations and, happy little conversations about common interests!
OMG yes and it’s perfect in those series and I have noticed Thai bls have also been using it too ! 🙄 it’s so outdated and not funny at all for for fresh new dramas.
My favorite is the confession scene. It's been years that I've finally watch a sincere and well-written confession. What I like about this drama is that they don't have dramatic plot. It is very enjoyable and relaxing. The drama is too attentive too details like Zhou Chuan is popular due to his Book of Luohe (which I think is a BL based on the book cover and what Mr. Liang said). Also, you can see Monkey design on Chuli stuff. Also, mini details like when they dig the tree, Chuli give him the black shovel, because it's Zhou Chuan's fave color. And the second leads actually meet because of Suo Heng if you really pay attention to the book. The weibo and qq accounts of characters are real. I like also the cover design of other books.
I didn't see anything that suggested Zhou Chuan ever wrote a danmein novel, which would be totally out of character for him. For one, he doesn't know anything about romance. Of any kind. When he's talking to ChuLi about the short story that he wrote for the competition to collaborate on a film script with Maurer, she asks, "You don't write love stories, do you?" and his response was, "I don't know how." While he does tell the annoying actress that there was no female lead in his novel, there is no indication that it's anything other than a fantasy novel about friends. He knows nothing at all about romance, which is clear throughout the drama, and it would be totally out of character for Zhou Chuan to write about something he knows nothing about. He does know about deep friendship between two men, as he and Jiang Yu Cheng have had a very close, supportive friendship, without hostility of jealousy even though they are competitors as well as "brothers, since they were kids. I don't recall any comment from Mr. Liang that would suggest Zhou Chuan's novel was a BL nove, either. What did he say that you think suggested this? I only saw that there were many members of the Chinese literati who thought t hat the Huazhi Award nominations should be reserved for traditional, conservative Chinese literature, and disliked the fact that a young, up-and-coming, popular writer was nominated for a best-selling "oriental fantasy" genre novel.
For me,this Moonlight drama is really interesting ,also have interesting ,funny and enjoyable plot and the chemistry between the leads are great and I am really into moonlight!!Their actings are on point and very very great!! I highly recommend u guys to watch moonlight
I'm kind of tired of romcoms that have the plot forced by more toxic relationships or misunderstandings that happen every other episode, so Moonlight was a sweet and refreshing change. My entire family loves this drama sooo much after episode 1. The story features a lot of my favourite cliches (living together, how the characters are connected with each other, workplace romance) where you can probably guess when/where the cliche moments will happen, but the way they execute them is quite funny, unexpected, and very enjoyable to watch. We watch a few episodes every couple of days, and I always look forward to them because of how fun and lighthearted they are. Also, seeing Chu Li grow and follow her dreams makes me very happy xD I don't think I've ever felt this happy for a modern drama character before lol
This is definitely on my to-watch list. I've liked everything I've seen Ding Yuxi in (Reset Life is a hidden gem that I absolutely adore). There's a clip from this drama that I keep seeing pop up where his line is something like "Maybe you won't believe me but at this present moment, there's a young lady in my kitchen, wearing my slippers, holding my knife, cooking for me. I actually feel like 'life' is a verb." I don't know how the rest of the script writing is but those lines are wonderful!
This drama was delightful, and as a book lover, I found the publishing house background - with the inherent conflicts between editors and writers, and between the editorial and circulation/financial departments - to be interesting, and also surprisingly well developed within the context of a light romantic comedy. It's probably my favorite romantic comedy Cdrama, and I ended up liking it more than TRoTaR, although I did very much enjoy that one as well. I loved the main couple - both of the characters were delightful. It did, as usual, take me a while to not cringe at t he FL's childish voice and mannerisms, but her professionalism, her determination, her "niceness," and her smart, quick mind won me over very quickly. Her finance/economic university studies, combined with her lifelong love of books, and her high EQ - made her very likable, as well as uniquely suitable for both her job and the attention of the ML, delightfully played by Ding Yu Xi. Here he gives us yet another charming character. Rather than a cold, arrogant author, we have a boyish young man, who is understandably extremely confident in himself and his abilities, and yet never comes across as cold or unjustifiably arrogant. I really enjoyed his quirky personality and quick, brilliant mind. The second lead couple is older and more mature, but they make a nice foil for the leads. I ended up liking both of them very much, and appreciated the contrast between the issues - told mostly via flashbacks - that arose when they navigated their relationship of both editor/author and lovers, contrasted to how our younger, less experienced lead couple dealt with some of the same issues. Additionally, the friendship between Zhou Chuan and Jiang Yu Cheng was really delightful to watch. There was a nice older and younger brother vibe, but what I most appreciated was how they always showed how much they valued their friendship. They were able to compete for fame, jobs, and awards, and yet always remain supportive, without bitterness or resentment when one or the other came out ahead. It's definitely one of my favorite non-BL bromances in Cdramas. The drama could have easily ended after 24 episodes, but this is a rare drama where I found the later episodes as interesting, and at times more interesting, than the earlier ones. It dealt with some real issues that Chinese idols/actors/producers/writers deal with, and the problem with the vicious, unsubstantiated, rumors that are spread like wildfire by jealous rivals, bitter acquaintances, or mean-spirited, small minded internet trolls can cause for famous people, threatening their personal relationships and careers. And I particularly loved the way the screenwriter used the dramatic developments to further the relationships among the characters, including that of Zhou Chuan and his father. This is actually my favorite light romance of the year, and one of my favorite Cdramas of that genre. I ended up upgrading from standard to premium VIP membership with IQIYI, just because I couldn't wait to finish the entire drama. Loved it.
Yes, it took me a while to get past FL's mannerisms as well. I think the main reason is that the first time I ever saw her was in A Love So Romantic and she plays the second lead in it, she is more mature, without any forced kind of cute acting but looks and comes across as very cute anyway (I highly recommend that drama, she is far better in that one acting wise than anything else I've seen from her even though she is the second lead.) Hence, after seeing that it took me a while to get into I've fallen for you and Moonlight. But after seeing AvenueX's recommendation, I decided to get back into I've fallen for you, and have successfully able to hang in there despite my aversion to very obvious and forced 'aegyo' kind of acting.
After hearing AvenueX's honest opinion about this drama, I'm encouraged to watch Moonlight. I learn something about Cdramas from her pros and cons. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge :)
I was searching friend who can scream with me and accompany me to watching this sweet drama. Since so many fans from weibo cant understand english that much. But hey! This drama is very very very cute and easy going. Just like drama 'a love so beautiful' maybe? The plotline seems little complex but it taste sweet. Im a big fan of zhou chuan also ding yu xi, his acting really match perfect with the character also esther is very cutee aff! But the real drama happens in ep 30 guys, u must watch it till the end. They're gonna blow up in the ending. A perfect plot ever😭❤️
So far 2021 dramas have been really kind to Avenuex I see. That's a good thing, we will never complain the overflows of good dramas for sure. Thank you for the review, adding on my list to watch.

I dropped this after watching 2 episodes. Doesn’t give me butterflies and too many unrealistic coincidences. So I would say 1.5 goldmines is too generous in my view. 👍 first time I do not concur with your ratings! Hahaha
Thanks, if so, then I may not watch this one... I have watched too many contemporary romantic dramas which I love, e.g. "Meteor Garden"(2018), "My ID is Gangnam Beauty", Well Intended Love", You are Beautiful"(2009), A Love so Beautiful (2017), "Coffee Prince" and many others...But when it has too many silly/stupid coincidences and accidental kisses is a big NO for me. I dropped "Use for my Talent" on 1st episode even though I like both leads because I couldn't take their silly coincidences.
I dropped this after the first episode. I am feeling weird that recently my preferences are so far off from AvenueX 😕 This seemed so run of the mill, not worth one goldmine at all!
Moonlight is actually my dessert in this year's chinese dramas. Its very light and sweet... among all the heavy dramas I've watch, this one makes my emotions at peace. So far, Im at episode 28 and conflicts are just about to start 😬

I have just finished watching this drama yesterday and I did enjoy it much more than I had thought. At first, I only thought of watching it because of Yu Shuxin. But it got my interest after the first 4 episodes and I couldn't stop watching. It was quite realistic and not overdramatic, really easy to watch. The chemistry between male and female leads was truly natural and cute. Eventhough it hadn't have big twist but it was what I needed to relax after watching many crazy exaggerated dramas lately (you know...Penthouse...)
i was really satisfied with this drama until i found out that there are gonna be 36 episodes i'm on 22 episode and the story is pretty much wrapped up and perfect for a happy ending but since there are 14more episodes to go i feel like now the drama is just gonna drag on
It does not drag at all. The last few episodes, which normally are really poorly done in a lot of Chinese drama, are one of the best ones in the show... Do give it a try.
I watched the first episode, but I wasn't feeling it. I guess it was a case of watching the right drama at the wrong time. I gave it a second chance after about 20 episodes had aired. It was surprisingly good that I ended up binge-watching it.
Finally there comes your review of Moonlight! Really good drama both with romantic and career scenes. Ryan Ding’s acting details will always beyond your imagination.

I watched 1st episode of this drama when it started but didnt finish 1st episode. I like the male lead. He is the good actor and his acting is not so cheesy so i enjoy watching it but i get lazy and save it to watch later. And then u give this almost two gold mines so i go back to watch it and still havent finish 1st episode. This story is cute and relax but i have short attention span so....
I love this drama and Im happy you gave it 1 gold rating. Its simple plot, rom com troves are there but great casting of leads, lighting director, and the script being well written so much so that I hang on to every conversation afraid to miss funny lines. This is one of the gems of 2021. Truly enjoyable watch.watched it so maany time over.
It's light, fluff, and sweet drama, quite enjoyable for me. Not the best, but the chemistry between leads, their cute moments together... it's an interesting journey.

Was thinking of what to watch between this and zhao lusi starring "Please be at ease Mr. Ling". Now this got your seal of approval but I've been hearing quite good things about the other one too. Hope if you get time, you can check that one out too. Would love to hear what's impression of it as well.
I've watched till 13th episode.. to me very light drama.. love the chemistry between 1st lead couple + 2nd lead actor. Smooth acting & cute bickering "sprinkles" here & there
I have my fingers crossed, Love is Sweet was nice up till episode 24-ish, after that it went MEH. Hopefully there are enough author/editor cases in Moonlight to keep it away from being overly romantic. I like how it's balanced between professional and personal stories. It gives off a very J-drama-ish vibe.

my last publishing industry drama was jimi ni sugoi: koetsu girl which was more a good professional comedy about copywriters, magazine writers and authors. with how you described how the main female lead got her job, i'm worried i'll be disappointed with how the drama handles the professional side of its setting.
About the weird sound fx, I believe it started with korean drama series done by Pd Shin..namely reply series, prison playbook n so on. He really like to include those fx and it suits well. Not sure since when china started all that.
Again you are spot on with your comments. I enjoyed this drama and the interaction between the 2 leads. I thought ill be irritated by the female cutsy antics n voice but somehow she manage to get me to like her. As for the male lead, i think thiz drama gave him a better platform to showcase his acting chops and charm than tiger n rose. Didnt noticed him before n he was totally forgetable in bis other roles including Tiger
The first time i heard sheep sound for funny/awkward moment was in Korean drama Reply 1997 (it was publish in 2012), and all drama from the same production team using similar funny sounds for their drama as well. (Prison playbook/hospital playlist etc) however im not sure when cdrama start using that kind of sounds.
Ooh the description "show abt publishing industry" got me hooked immediately. I always want more stories abt that world bc it's rly fascinating to me. So far, I've only seen the kdrama Romance is a Bonus Book that's set there.
It's long but it's detailed and i included popular opinions from the rakuten viki comment section too (i was watching it there and live comments were thre). According to my rating system it's a 6 star drama but it's better than other dramas iv rated the same so i ll give it a 7. 2⭐Plot: as someone considering learning about literature, the subject matter really struck a chord with me. The plot was honestly interesting, i have nothing major to complain about. The angsty romance between the second leads was more interesting than the main leads plotline and im going to explain that. 1⭐ Character: FL and ML are both interesting and adorable characters, but we saw their irritating sides before everything else. So even though the female lead is quite and capable despite of her impulsive nature, her accomplishments involve the male leads and this made the audience question if she is actually capable on her own or not. And the male lead shows his vulnerable side but i still wasn't sold on the story. If these two were a side couple i would have enjoyed they're plot. The second lead couple showed they're positive sides before the negative ones, so i liked their plotline a lot. Plus they have a mature relationship contrary to the cute relationship of the main leads and it was nice seeing it unfolding side by side. ⭐1 Acting: it was ok i would say but the female leads acting was hard to get used to. 1⭐ other things: the costumes were strange at times and on point at others. The lyrics of the ost were also strange at points even though the tune went well with the tone of the drama. The sets were ok, hitting the spot at times but overall ok. One thing that stood out to me was, the second leads earrings- she wore these sheild like ones when she had her guard up against romance and switched when she was vulnerable, i think, i havet confirmed it by watching it again actually... 1⭐ i enjoyed it i guess but it wasn't all that memorable besides the publishing plotline.

I am so so so glad you did this review! I'm also watching it and have THE SAME THOUGHTS. Also you're hair is SO PRETTY TODAY! I like the style! Also still wishing for Tom Hiddleston (Tim, Tom?, LOKI) for you!
So far I really love it! I absolutely love esther yu and I think she is doing an awesome job. Also, now I kinda want to watch the romance of tiger and rose because of ding yuxi. Of course, the drama is nothing out of the ordinary, but i am having so much fun watching it.

for anyone looking for a light hearted drama this is it for u. the chemistry btwn male leads is insane, one thing I've noticed abt ding yuxi is that he always has a really good dynamic w his female leads n in this too he doesn't disappoint, they're both a delite in a frame together very cute n enjoyable
I watched this drama n somehow love it..it just a simple love story nothing too complicated. The main reason i keep watching because the fl is not some crybaby having miserable life and cannot say no to anybody. This fl know how to stand up for herself
I was waiting for your review before checking out this drama! You mentioned Korean contemporary dramas - would you ever do a video on some that you have liked? I think your perspective is always so refreshing!
I haven't started it yet as I finish up some other dramas. I always feel like if they are going to go with the SOA (The School of Over Acting) it really has to reach for it (kitschy)...otherwise I just can't watch. I also really appreciate the subtlety of being"real". So thanks for commenting on that in your review. It makes me want to watch this all the more. I suppose we accept that there will be some contrivance to get the action going...and we have to suspend our belief a little bc yeah in real life these things don't happen. I don't mind the sound effects when they are done well..(ex: Lovely Writer). Looking forward to watching.
Started watching because of the ml but the fl’s voice is just.. arghh i know it’s her real voice n that she cant change it but still, it annoys me so much i had to drop it.
I could claim myself as an avid reader. And Chu Li is just like me....she loves to inject quotes, characters, just any weird knowledge you get from too much reading, LOL. That's what makes her an interesting character for me. I could say she's atypical "stupid-dumb-fresh-grad-let's-just-put-effort" heroine, and that's what makes her interesting and lovable. She has courage, witty, walk the talk, can look at the bigger picture, work hard and work smart, fearless, honest.
I watch her videos to find new interesting dramas and I have sometimes compare her reviews of a drama to mines. Sometimes I agree and other times I disagree but I realize she and I have some things in common.
There is a third couple in the drama involving a lesbian writer and one of the female editors which was told mostly in flashbacks. The main clue is that the female editor had keys to the house of the lesbian writer. I learned about the lesbian relationship from comments bec it is harder to spot bec of trying to avoid censorship.
It's adorable drama and I quite enjoy it when it's playing on my screen, but everytime I put down my phone, I become lazy to resume watching. Maybe I'll binge-watch it later when it's completed. Afaik, animal noise has been long used in Japanese culture for sound effect. They usually use crow noise for dumbfounding moments, because it is homonym with the word 'stupid'. Meanwhile, the oldest drama I know using animal noise for dumbfounding moment is Korean drama Reply 1997 (2012). However, unlike Japanese show, this drama used goat noise instead of crow noise. I don't know whether or not this is related to the trend in Chinese drama. Who knows, there might be a Chinese director who took inspiration and unexpectedly created the trend.
after hearing AvenueX's honest opinion about this drama i"m encouraged to watch Moonlight. I learn something about Cdramas from her pros and cons. thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge :)
Suddenly fall and kissing on the floor reminds me of,"Love is sweet,"..😂when i watch that scene,i'm like,do you really have to do that there, can't you atleast do it in a car or atleast get up first???🤣🤣🤣
very cute drama but i agree with what u said. the 36 episode mark will do in this drama. its very unnecessary and im already annoyed theyre delaying the inevitable relationship with fluff fillers so they can have more content for later eps
I actually think this drama got better, and that the episodes between 28-29 and 36 were the most interesting episodes. They dealt with very real issues in China, re the internet scandals, allegations of plagiarism (as in TMoPB, and more recently The YinYang Master, which was yanked out of theaters in China, not b/c it was allegedly plagiarised, but b/c of a 10 year old plagiarism scandal the writer had been invovled in), and accusations of misconduct by anonymous people on social media, and the nasty "netlizens" who eat up and spread that type of unsubstantiated rumor, which can destroy an actor/idol/writer's career. The latter episodes also dealt with issues that are very universally common, such as traditionalists in the arts and fine arts resisting modern works, because they don't fit in with the historical, traditional, standards. Not only does Zhou Chuan's novel challenge conservative, traditionalists, but there is also a new writer who uses a lot of Animation/Computer/Games (ACG) terminology, which the older editors don't undertand and thus don't like. There is a love interest rival that shows up as well, and while she could have created problems, the way the lead couple handles it is pretty flawless. She - as well as a brewing scandal - are also used to show us what Zhou Chuan was like as a high school student, and I enjoyed that part. He is so far from the cold, emotionally distant tsundere ML - he's a quirky, brilliant, funny, boyish, i ntroverted (gets his energy from being alone, not from being with people) young man, but he's also a kind person who protects weaker, vulnerable people, as well as those he loves. I really loved his character.
@@vespertyne2952 finished the show and i agree. plot wise the last 6 eps were most interesting I would say even touching but I still believe the main relationship was pushed back too much without reason. eh that's not really a big deal though. its a solid 9/10 show for me. yes the male and female lead were wonderful. especially female lead personally coz after years of watching cdramas i'd become prejudiced against some 'cutesy' female leads coz they're often potrayed to be stupid. chu li made me look deeper and unlearn some of the prejudice against cutesy female leads i had unknowingly picked up coz she is cutesy but she's smart, strong and takes shit from no one. gotta say iqiyi has really been DELIVERING on shows lately. moonlight is definitely my favorite rom com-ish drama of the year so far
Yeah, this drama is nothing special....... It's very much similar to last year's 'Love is Sweet' (led by Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi)....both are 36 episodes drama. The setting of the drama is not the same as love is sweet....but it gives me the same feelings. And not just these, there are few more dramas which are just fine, not so good or bad. P.S.- But the chemistry of Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi was damn good.
You know what, I know you only watch (for now) or review cdrama. But man I cannot wait for you to watch One Spring Night (Kdrama), I am so not into romantic drama unless it's (WoH ahem) but the level of acting and the conscious storytelling and the logic is so well crafted. Can you please, will you. It is an old drama tho 2018 or 2019.
This is also in my watch list but I'm waiting for some reviews from some of my fave cdrama reviewers. I'm gonna give it a go since you gave some good reasons to watch it which are also quite interesting for me. (Can you do a review on Killer and Healer? 🥺🥺)
I think avenue x gave a high rating because she likes the lead actors. Many people have pointed out that the way the lead actress speaks in the drama is very irritating and takes away attention from the story
she like both of the leads and has praising both of them tho. if u dont like the fml voice, then that's okay too cuz that's her real voice she cant do much too to change her voice, she usually talk like that irl too, but i think she done a perfect job as Chuli and she is one of the reason the show is enjoyable too
I saw the trailer and it looks interesting, convince me to watch it please. Edit - reminds me of this Korean drama called "romance is a bonus book" so I will check it out.
Part of my comment on another forum:: As an avid reader and lover of books - particularly fantasy and historical fiction - I also found this drama a lovely tribute to the creative process of writing, Here, the focus is mostly on all the work that goes on behind the scenes - the editing, artwork, publication, marketing - that brings these wonderful books into our lives. I also like how the drama touched on the changing genres in contemporary literature, by making the ML a fantasy writer, and also touching on manga being included in the publishing house's literary magazine for established and new writers. The character of Ghost was also a nice touch, with her witty, ACG-lingo peppered writing, which was deftly used to introduce the older generation editors to the ACG lingo popular with younger readers. I also liked the realistic tension between the editors - who work with struggling, sometimes in-a-slump writers - and the circulation department, who are focused solely on the financial profits an authors' books generate. We've seen these things in other dramas - such as Romance is a Bonus Book - but I liked this drama much more than RBB, because I cared more about the lead couple, and because I enjoyed the relationships between editors and writers that we saw in both the first and second lead couples.
I didn't expect a lot when I started watch it for the first time. Then I got hooked as a Chinese contemporary drama is actually can be well made from many sides! As for the BGM voice, I think it wants to take a similar way like Korean dramas using in Reply series, Prison Playbook & Hospital Playlist (which all are being made by the same director & writer) the dramas are known for using awkward BGM voices during comedy or awkward scenes
TBH Yu Xi is not the most good looking actor in my opinion but I'm so in love with Han Shou (acted by Yu Xi) in The romance of tiger and rose. And again I feel like I'm falling for his character in this new series. He's so talented
Okay I love lead actors acting a lot. And the story is def engaging but that ep21 when they were locked inside high school in the room was just toooo obscure. Haha it is so intentional like why cannot you say to the guard that story but we were here for this, and I am ex student. Ok so they just disappear in a room and guards don’t even check. Okay, then they get locked inside and now all of a sudden there is no phone network. Okay that was tooooooo busy and a setting made for proposal god damn
Now before I watch anything I need her approval first lmao😭
Ya man
SAME! I’m glad I only got into C-dramas last year and half I can watch the older gems she has reviewed when the new ones suck !
Same😌
Agree
Same here 😄😄
It is the cutest drama this year.
Ding Yu Xi always delivers, always. This is not a theory, it's a law.
Hey fellow ding yuxi fan!!!!...great to meet you....I've watched everything he has done and yes!!!it's definitely a law set in stone😆
@@saniyyaahussain9936 Great to meet you as well! I love Avenuex's comment section because I find so many good commentaries, recommendations and, happy little conversations about common interests!

tho m choosy with his partners 🤭
if you watch korean drama you'll know that sheep sound is an iconic sound in all of reply series; 1997, 1994 and 1988😂 it's so funny when they use it😂
OMG yes and it’s perfect in those series and I have noticed Thai bls have also been using it too ! 🙄 it’s so outdated and not funny at all for for fresh new dramas.
I love 1990's series, oh god i love them so much.
Agree. The confession letter is very sweet. I think that's way zhou chuan as writer compose that love feelings :')
YES and his smugness was everything!
THAT'S VERY ATRACTIVE LINE! WE HAVE SAME TASTE😂😂
Oh my god I love dingyuxi so much. SO MUCH. I still haven’t got over intense love and romance of tiger and rose. His acting is just *chefs kiss*
Your "it's nothing new" pretty much sums it up and there's just too many dramas out that I have not seen yet.
Thank you for this review.
So far 2021 dramas have been really kind to Avenuex I see. That's a good thing, we will never complain the overflows of good dramas for sure. Thank you for the review, adding on my list to watch.
after hearing AvenueX's honest opinion about this drama i"m encouraged to watch Moonlight. I learn something about Cdramas from her pros and cons. thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge :)
I dropped this after watching 2 episodes. Doesn’t give me butterflies and too many unrealistic coincidences. So I would say 1.5 goldmines is too generous in my view. 👍 first time I do not concur with your ratings! Hahaha
I felt bad dropping it 🤣 it's okay but not enough for me to stay and give time
Thanks, if so, then I may not watch this one...
I'm surprised this isn't just a typical idol drama 🤣
Ding Yuxi surprisingly fits the contemporary drama type very well. Very anime-ish, very Japanese vibe
Moonlight is actually my dessert in this year's chinese dramas. Its very light and sweet... among all the heavy dramas I've watch, this one makes my emotions at peace. So far, Im at episode 28 and conflicts are just about to start 😬
after hearing AvenueX's honest opinion about this drama i"m encouraged to watch Moonlight. I learn something about Cdramas from her pros and cons. thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge :)
This year has had many good dramas. Last year was rough.
Out of the two dramas by the two leads from tiger and rose that released recently, I like this one.
I knew you were going to review it!
It's such a good drama and Esther is so adorable 💕
after hearing AvenueX's honest opinion about this drama i"m encouraged to watch Moonlight. I learn something about Cdramas from her pros and cons. thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge :)
Its a very feel good drama with good leads with amazing chemistry.
I think ive first noticed these cute sound effects in PYHOMS.
It's light, fluff, and sweet drama, quite enjoyable for me. Not the best, but the chemistry between leads, their cute moments together... it's an interesting journey.

I was waiting for this review, I'm so happy!!! I'm already watching the series - and I love it, it's funny and sweet- but I really was waiting for your opinion!!
Me too😀

Been waiting for this review before I decide to watch this drama or not. Thank you 🙏

my last publishing industry drama was jimi ni sugoi: koetsu girl which was more a good professional comedy about copywriters, magazine writers and authors. with how you described how the main female lead got her job, i'm worried i'll be disappointed with how the drama handles the professional side of its setting.
It’s more of a romcom with a publishing backdrop, if that makes sense.
(Prison playbook/hospital playlist etc) however im not sure when cdrama start using that kind of sounds.
tiger and rose was a bomb loved it so much! but this one is good too but I'm so dead inside that i can't watch this sweet drama.
Sameee, i was searching friend who can scream each other while watching this kinda drama😂😂
Ooh the description "show abt publishing industry" got me hooked immediately. I always want more stories abt that world bc it's rly fascinating to me. So far, I've only seen the kdrama Romance is a Bonus Book that's set there.
not related to the topic but your lipstick looks so good, it suits you really well!!
I just love these drama so much!
I literally search for Moonlight review😀😀😀

I am so so so glad you did this review! I'm also watching it and have THE SAME THOUGHTS. Also you're hair is SO PRETTY TODAY! I like the style! Also still wishing for Tom Hiddleston (Tim, Tom?, LOKI) for you!
So far I really love it! I absolutely love esther yu and I think she is doing an awesome job. Also, now I kinda want to watch the romance of tiger and rose because of ding yuxi. Of course, the drama is nothing out of the ordinary, but i am having so much fun watching it.
after hearing AvenueX's honest opinion about this drama i"m encouraged to watch Moonlight. I learn something about Cdramas from her pros and cons. thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge :)
for anyone looking for a light hearted drama this is it for u. the chemistry btwn male leads is insane, one thing I've noticed abt ding yuxi is that he always has a really good dynamic w his female leads n in this too he doesn't disappoint, they're both a delite in a frame together very cute n enjoyable
I watched this drama n somehow love it..it just a simple love story nothing too complicated. The main reason i keep watching because the fl is not some crybaby having miserable life and cannot say no to anybody. This fl know how to stand up for herself
Agree the FL is a nice person but also knows her limits :)
I'm waiting for "Please feel at Ease Mr. Ling "review
me too
I was waiting for your review before checking out this drama! You mentioned Korean contemporary dramas - would you ever do a video on some that you have liked? I think your perspective is always so refreshing!
Love your reviews as always 💜
Would you consider reviewing “Please Feel at Ease Mr. Ling”?
I first started noticing these cute, weird sound effects getting more popular after the boom with the drama "put your head on my shoulders"
The main lead Ryan Ding Yu Xi is such a great actor!!!! ^.^
The sheep sound started from the Korean drama Reply 1997.
Started watching because of the ml but the fl’s voice is just.. arghh i know it’s her real voice n that she cant change it but still, it annoys me so much i had to drop it.
her and Yang Mi made me thank overdubbing
thought m d only one who dislike her voice(&acting)..
tho i stan dyx i had to drop this too..
imo not entertainment its torture..🙉
I could claim myself as an avid reader. And Chu Li is just like me....she loves to inject quotes, characters, just any weird knowledge you get from too much reading, LOL. That's what makes her an interesting character for me. I could say she's atypical "stupid-dumb-fresh-grad-let's-just-put-effort" heroine, and that's what makes her interesting and lovable.
She has courage, witty, walk the talk, can look at the bigger picture, work hard and work smart, fearless, honest.
The funny animal sound effects became popular after the Korean series “Reply” ☺️
I love this drama so far. The not telling he's also Mr. Fox kind of irks me though. But I'm glad they try to concentrate on publishing enough. 😊
Are u gonna do a review on court lady really curious about what you think
This is my fave among the ongoing dramas I'm watching atm💜
I first noticed this sound effect thing in Be My Cat.
Was waiting for this video like since the drama premiered
The first drama that I noticed the animal sound effects was " Put Your Head on My Shoulder " Maybe thats were it started
Very Cute 😍... Have enjoyed it so far.... Loved Loved Loved ❤ Imperial Coroner and Also enjoying Time Flies...You're Here
i really enjoyed this drama too 🥰
after hearing AvenueX's honest opinion about this drama i"m encouraged to watch Moonlight.
I like love is sweet. But it got draggy near the end....
@@massalleh5255 .....yeah
Good to know! Thank you!
Have you watch My Dear Guardian?
Will you do a video on Hunter 2021 with Qin Hao and Yin Fang ? My view point is that it's worth it should you have some time to spend.
I saw the FL in Find Yourself....not a fan, tbh. So I'm a little cautious about approaching this show. Ding Yuxi is great though.
saw about 4-5 mins of this too yet the fl acted too woodsy to watch..imo..🙈
yes!!! i've been waiting for this since it aired!!!
It is an old drama tho 2018 or 2019.
i really enjoyed this drama its very good especialyy at the middle part but i have not finished it yet
Can you review the drama named "Please feel at ease Mr. Ling"
This is also in my watch list but I'm waiting for some reviews from some of my fave cdrama reviewers. I'm gonna give it a go since you gave some good reasons to watch it which are also quite interesting for me.
(Can you do a review on Killer and Healer? 🥺🥺)
You are soooo pretty today!
really this drama is interesting i am excited for new episodes
Did you finish watching? The second half is even better than the first half!
It's cute for me, really enjoyed it by far. I recommend you to watch it
Part of my comment on another forum::
As an avid reader and lover of books - particularly fantasy and historical fiction - I also found this drama a lovely tribute to the creative process of writing, Here, the focus is mostly on all the work that goes on behind the scenes - the editing, artwork, publication, marketing - that brings these wonderful books into our lives.
Thank you.👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
So appreciate all that you do...
TBH Yu Xi is not the most good looking actor in my opinion but I'm so in love with Han Shou (acted by Yu Xi) in The romance of tiger and rose. And again I feel like I'm falling for his character in this new series. He's so talented
I wonder AvenueX, did you watch Korean drama casually
This drama gives me different wives. Chill and sweet
wives?
@@marchessunicorn1720 😂
I just started love lost in times let's see if I don't end up dropping it like all the others 😔
You look the best in this video. Something to do with your natural hairstyle and red lips.
Been waitin' for this!
do bong soon was the first drama i watched with those noises being normalized lol
Waiting for your review
Meowmeowmeow 😂 Wasn't expecting that
Quite illogical but relaxing.
