That's almost spot on for scale speed for a wakeboard boat. I've spent years riding wakes and it looks about right to me. Stock was still to slow, but that just barely on plane speed is nice.

I have a feeling that prop is designed to only flow so much water so that the boat doesn’t get up on a plane like you want just so it won’t flip over easily . It is a kids toy

@@josephwimerYoYoYo oh for sure but for what he’s doing just messing around I think he was just hoping for instant results which I would have expected as well. But I do wonder if that hull is also just wrong shape??? Don’t know but more power always equals better results right???

Try a Speed 380 along with a 25mm 3-bladed Raboesch brass prop,if going 3s. Quick rule of thumb,as you go up in revs,go down in the diameter of the prop and use a shallower pitch on the prop blades.

  • @norcalrc

Trim off the weird tabs on the forward part of the hull, add a little more power (different motor, doesn't have to be brushless) and trim tabs at the rear with a little down angle might help it plane instead of "porpoise" (nose-up)
