Boy oh boy what a day! Don’t you love it when the screen lights up with fish and you know your lures are about to pass through the school. Watch out for the blades on the drone-ouch! Great video Brodie!
Bill, it's an amazing feeling! This day had some fall run vibes, and gets me super excited for October! Hope you can get some striper fishing done soon sir! Yeah the drone is something I'm still trying to get used to out there. Could have been worse (like nicking a superficial vein)! Take care Bill and thanks for watching buddy! 🤜🤛😎🎣
Yo Brody!!! Another awesome video, brother! I was glued to the screen... Always enjoy your editing, and it of course helps when you catch a ton of striped bass! Glad you didn't lose the top half of your finger with that drone 😅😅😅. Keep up the outstanding work, my friend! 🤙🤙✌️🎣
🤜🤛 thanks brother! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos dude! Man, it was a close call, glad I didn't strike a superficial vein with the props! Can't wait to see what Kevin Rapkoch has in store for us in his next video! Take care buddy! 🙏🎣😎
Great video! I truly enjoy the videos you are producing, that is a lot of work, time and equipment invested. Your editing is top notch. Makes me want to try PEI striper fishing! I usually go to NB, I'll be doing my homework and possibly try PEI next summer. I do not have CC turned on and notice that what you are saying is written on the bottom of the screen. Is that on purpose?
Highly recommend coming to PEI to try Striper fishing ASAP as the Department of fisheries and oceans are initiating a commercial fishery for them. Still not in place but it's coming apparently. Hopefully it won't decimate out population! Yes, I put in my captions when editing! Would you prefer me not to add them? Just would like to advocate for my viewers! Thanks for watching Ethan! 🤛🤜🎣
It's nice to hear you returning Amy! Get out there and chase them. Something about fishing from a kayak just makes the hunt so much more enjoyable! Be safe out there and let me know if you need any help! 🤜🤛🎣 Thanks for watching Amy!
Nice! Yeah keep trying the lures as much as you can! I recommend trying them around rocky structure and channels. Seems to be where they work best. Thanks for watching sir! 🎣🤜🤛🍻
Great Video! You got me really excited for my trip to PEI mid September, hopefully there will still be some around! Can I ask what size single hooks are you using on the lures? I need to swap out my trebles...
Hey man that's great to hear! PEI is super popular for striper fishing and it's still relatively new and upcoming! They will be around right till the end of October. There's so many around it's insane dude! I use 2/0 all the way up to 5/0 single inline barbless hooks, the VMC brand. Depending on the lure size and action, I will change the size. Hope this helps! What I normally do is match the entire gap of the treble with the gap of a single hook then use that as my starting point. As long as it doesn't sacrifice the action after you swap them, you should be good! Thanks for watching bud! 🤜🤛🎣😎
Pants that unzip into shorts would have been so great for a morning like this. Should definitely get some from Bass Pro Shop!! Avoid those mosquitos while striped bass fishing ☺️
Hey dude! I use the navionics app. It's very handy when targeting stripers. I bought the subscription to the US and Canada maps. You can download sections of the area you fish and use it offline while you're out fishing! Super awesome app! Thanks for watching brother!

Yes! Captions help the YT algorithm pick up keywords 😊

Coming back from PEI, got 4 stripers on mackerel and weight, no luck with poppers or minnows. Nice content. Thank you.
