  • It can’t be beat. Bucktails are the Fishing lure you want with you on a deserted island. You’ll catch so much fish on that island, you won’t even need to leave.

    Bucktails are really all I use. They can imitate any kind of bait. They can be fished at any level in the water column. They can be fished at any speed. And they can be fished in any kind of conditions. Sometimes I'll use a diamond jig.

    • @BobAquatic
      @BobAquatic  Месяц назад

      Totally agree, once you learn to jig any part of the water column with it, it’s really the only lure you need

    • @Jigmaster55
      @Jigmaster55 Месяц назад +1

      @@BobAquatic exactly. I see all these other anglers going to the beach with like 10-15 different lures to match the hatch. But if a bucktail imitates any kind of bait, why even bother using other lures. And all these other fancy surface lures are a ripoff. They go for like 15 to 25 dollars a piece.

    Question I have is do you ever swim to rocks and or wear wetsuits?

    • @BobAquatic
