Yeah but they tend to be janky sometimes depending on the guns. Like I've got some shotguns that look fine in first person but in third person the viewmodel is like literally below the hip or something and the arms are all dislocated.
Plus, Arc9 in general looks weird sometimes since most weapons have magazines placed oddly when "off-screen", so in third person you see floating mags.

I don't know why this "full view" is more immersive... Just think about yourself in real life: when you, for example, lean to the right, your eye view doesn't get crocked, because your brain is correcting the view back to normal. Right? 😉

If 3rd person models looks bad,did you try with the Arc9 3rd person gun models? The one that replicates the reload animation in 3rd person like the first person reload?

A question - Would you like to someday revisit some of addons you reviewed originally back in your early days, such as, say, 5 years ago from now? For example - The Aperture which added all the amazing Portal and Portal 2 stuff you could interact with - Now there's a new version of it which mostly works on modern Gmod versions - On workshop, it's called "Aperture Continued [Fixed Paint Gun]" and is uploaded by Miolekko.

Apparently this was how FEAR did its view models.. I heard something about it being for consistency in multiplayer. It was the reason why the animation and Fidelity was a little bit on the weak side in first person.. but I think it paid off in spades because it actually genuinely felt like you were doing all the things! And well yes you can do this as well with the more traditional view model third person body setup.. they still managed to f it up almost as the norm in modern games..

A mod practically the same is: Full Body First Person, only in this you only have to enter the game and ¡voilà! , you can now see your entire body and the player’s hand model without Kleiner’s default hand appearing
