In response, localization advocates for a fundamental shift towards decentralization. It promotes sustainable local agriculture and markets, reducing transportation and reliance on chemicals and machinery, and encourages practices that foster diverse education and strong democratic participation. By embracing localization, Helena argues, societies can transition to a more equitable and environmentally friendly economic system.
