In KC he's known as Bobby Baseball. Just saw him play a couple weeks ago, and i got to say he's faster live than he looks on tv.

He’d have more HRs if he didn’t play at Kauffman. Witt is the best SS in the majors & will be for a good amount of time. No one matches his hustle on every single play he’s involved in. He’s one of a kind.

The K will definitely affect his homerun numbers, but I imagine the trade-off is that BWJ will continue to have a lot of doubles and triples like George Brett. Another interesting playstyle benefit for playing at The K is that fewer runs are scored there, so he will have more scenarios that call for swiping bags and being on either end of a hit and run. But I agree that he would probably be a 40/40 guy eventually if he were a Cub or Rockie.

@@JetForceFive So true, his power and speed combination is so awesome. But def playing Kauffman stadium will lower his HR totals but increase his XBH.

KC already has Mahomes and Kelce, and now they have this guy who could become a household name across baseball. As an O's fan, I would love to see us face the Royals in the playoffs. Adley and Gunnar vs Bobby Baseball and Salvy would be a treat to watch both on the field and in the debate circle. Bobby Witt Jr., the 21st century "laughing lion" version of George Brett. Royals mgmt., please pay this young superstar his legacy money and then triple his salary, as Witt Jr. plays with a lion club spirited joy, day in day out just "for love of the game." Moreover, he has that regal lion look of undisputed raw energy and talent while representing himself to the media as an articulate young gentleman from a distinguished baseball family. Hear Bobby roar Royals fans!!!! as Witt Jr. glides around the the bases with that distinct regal lion aura. What a role model for younger, aspiring professional players. And the name is Jr.!!!!!!
