I simply adore Christine! She is just lovely, confident, classy, very self assured & seems grounded. When I was younger, everyone seemed to try & make out a rivalry between Chris & Stevie. Chris never played into that. She was just her incredible self, writing & singing great songs & being a rock solid member of the Mac & friend to Stevie Nicks. I love ya Chris & you are sorely missed!
Gosh if it's possible I love her even more now. She's so down to earth. Funny how in the 70's everyone was all about Stevie and I just was so captivated by this woman!!! Such a great songwriter. And what a soothing voice. LOVE HER!!!
+Maggie G And coming from a guy just to be frank for a second... she was really hot. bothers me her beauty got so over-shadowed by Stevie. And if you ask me Christine is much more of a "lady" , and I'm not sure exactly what I mean by that but I supposed maturity and class, for starts. I'm 27 but grew up listening to them anyhow:]

I never imagined this about her - the way she moves her face when she talks is so endearing...she reminds me of Keith Richards in that way. It's attractive because its honest and expressive at the same time. I never looked at her once as a kid. Stevie of course is the bomb, so attractive and yet talented too. But this is quite nice to see...someone so fresh and present, even after all that she had seen and done by now, and no doubt, she must have seen so many casualties crash and burn. But still just being cool and present. Really nice. Way to go Christine.
I love ❤️ how down to earth she was… Just so chill about the money part! When she passed away last year it hurt me more than I think any stars death had it did feel like losing someone you know!
I feel the exact same way. She was just absolutely delightful and humble. I was truly heartbroken when she died. She was my favorite member in my favorite band. Christine and Fleetwood Mac have been a big part of my since I was 12 years old, and I'm 53 now. I cried when she died because it was like losing a close friend.😢💔
wow she is a latebloomer. "oh i just sat down and started singing after i got my art degree." she seems to be down-to-earth so that really impresses me.
Wow,That woman is so true to her word. She got tired of the life, and dropped out of F/M. It would've earned her millions, but she said nope I'm done... That is a class act right there.
@jaycee0031 TALENTED she is!!! Did you know (and being a fan you must) she would write only 3 songs that were required of her for each album - and had the most hits in the band than anyone!!! I love Christine ( Stevie, too - heck all of them!) And I've never spoke to a man who didn't say he thought she was beautifl and.fell in love with her.

Comment continued (sorry). In Mick's book he said men were always falling in love with Chris. He said she could work all day in the studio and still at the end of the day cook a lovely dinner for 'everyone' - not sure who 'everyone' was.
They lived communaly at "Kiln House" in the early 70s. Chris and the other wives/girlfriends did the cooking and the band rehearsed in the next room. Chris was asked to join the band because she knew all the songs from listening through the kitchen wall.
Christine over Stevie any day. Gorgeous with a cool classy voice. I like how she thinks and explains things. And she sings with that husky sex sound in her voice. I love her laughter. My heart is cursing my eyes and ears. Perfect Christine. Ahava! Ani Ohev Otakh.
To be honest, I never really notice that Annie Lennox has a deep voice. But I realize it now. Her voice is not as deep as Christine McVie, but it is pretty deep.
She makes more sense than Stevie nicks, who talks jibberish is most her old interviews -LOL Christine was at the top of her game on tango in the night, but has always been a great singer/songwriter in fleetwood mac.
She has a lot of the same mannerisms as John Lennon did when he was asked such questions. They are kind of put off by the rock star questions and would rather speak of ordinary life. What I wanna know....Did she ever have relations with Lyndsay? They were very chummy and often made eye contact while on stage - sort of a flirtatious thing. It was probably due to the fact that she was a performing musician like John and Mick so the connection start there.
"rock and roll taught me to be humble." "i don't feel like an arrogant, you know, flippant bitch." wow lol nice interview haha! "you don't have to you know, be a bitch to be successful in this business" ~Christine Perfect (McVie/Wilson/Quintella)
they should praise bob welch in every interview. he made it possible for their later success. bob brought that smooth california rock sound to the band. it wasnt fucking Kirwan and it wasnt fucking Christine McVie. Bob should get points on Rumours. that album would never have happened without him. they didnt even want to move to america. bob convinced them to . in conclusion, this lineup never fucking happens without Bob Welch, and then they exclude him from the hall of fame ? they all deserve cancer
@jedw Stevie was so coked up in those older interviews it is a wonder she could stay seated long enough to carry through. She was most likely always thinking of that 8 ball on the mirror in another room.
Rest easy Christine 🖤
A true and absolute legend.
This interview says it all.

Awfully hard not to get lost in her eyes and just listening to her talk makes me melt

Just lovely .. shame there are no little Christines - as ever talented individuals but only the boys had kids.
I love her response to, so how has fame changed you. I don't think I have changed at all, I am just richer lol.
A total sweetheart when I met her.
She’s an absolute queen!
So beautiful, so talented, my God I love this woman!!!
Christine proved she can get down and funky with "You make lovin' fun" which had an almost like dance disco feel to it!
a cool woman who gave us lots of great rock songs.
A lot of current female entertainers could learn something from this interview. Chris is a very warm person and thanks for posting this interview.
Super cool, genuine lady, and of course super talented.
~All At The Same Time, She Is Very Smart And Funny ~ I Love Interviews With Christine! Thanx. *s*
Love Christine. She's underrated as an artist. Stevie (who I adore) attracts more attention, but Christine is incredibly talented.
She's interesting to listen to!!

Christine McVie is the jazzy voice in Fleetwood Mac:D
I love her frankness
Thank you, Christine!
Christene has gone through hell with John and as he says she saw him at his worst one to many times. What a talent i love her to bits.

Chris! Lovely . . . and frank. All of the members of Mac are frank as hell. No wonder they didn't get along. Ho ho!
You can knock this bass-player's boots anytime Christine!
You are the (sane) woman of my dreams...
always too classy and extraordinary for rock and roll. a female diamond geezer lol
