It was how it was in Australia from even the 1960’s...I grew up with it, and I think it was because we were so far away from the rest of the world, we didn’t get to see these bands live, it wasn’t really until the mid to late 70’s that we became a tour stop, because we were buying their records, they knew they had an audience to make the logistics and the cost of coming to Australia worth it. In Australia we had 3 charts..Australian, UK and American, in that order. And perhaps we just got exposed to everything because we were so far away. Stevie is a gem, and Australia loves her.

She was incredible in all she did from the start of her career first with Lindsey Buckingham, then Fleetwood Mac then going solo starting her Bella Donna album. Although her music counterparts were great she was the headline of the show because as Lindsey said she is majic. Check out her videos. Just look for the years 1960s up and studio moments and documentaries on you tube. You'll never be bored. I'm known for her music since she is one of my heroes. Take care and be blessed.

A good friend of mine from Boston would record Fleetwood Mac albums on reel to reel tape from WBCN, Boston's underground station . 80's music was in a special class of its own. To me, generations are defined in decades of music, hence 50's 60's 70's etc.........
