      well Chris does in game color commentary, i think he said he prefers being able to travel to different cities and games instead of being in a studio all the time,

    Crazy that people say that coaching doesn't mean much. I would say it's actually *undervalued*! No one other than Pop is taking that 2014 Spurs team to the title. And no one other than Carlisle is taking that 2011 Mavs team to the title.

    Phil Jackson is Bill Russell and Pop is Michael Jordan. Phil Jackson is the greatest coach winner but Pop is the greatest coach of all time.

    I just can't really enjoy this "Players Only" setup. Other than Chris Webber, no one in the crew seems to be good on TV. They do provide good analysis; but they're just not fun to listen to, they're not very good speakers.

      Weber has the most broadcasting experience. You never know who the next Kenny Smith is going to be.
      For example Brandon Marshall was great on Inside the NFL, from what I caught and I never would have guessed that.

    Love all these players (except Bosh), but you gotta get some NEW hosts. They're just not entertaining enough. I'm bored to death a minute in. I also believe that having a non-player like Ernie has it's benefits.

    The main reason the man did not have a ring, nor was wanted within a prosperous team.
