The most humblest super-star that ever played. The ultimate teammate anyone could have on their team. Manu could have been selfish and demanded more money & fame. He could have easily gone astray from the Spurs' franchise to seek fame and fortunes but this man just wanted to win. So much so, that he did literally anything! in order for the Spurs to win ball games & ultimately championships. Manu was the epitome of what every athlete & person should aspire to be. His humbleness and willingness to learn new things other than basketball is what makes him such a special person. It was an honor watching him play as he razzle dazzled us with his very unique set of moves on the court, whether it was in the Olympics playing with Argentina, or the NBA Finals with the Spurs. This man did it ALL! And he was one hell of a player. Never made any type of trade demands, or threw any teammates under the bus. He always put the onus on himself when it came to winning and losing. Manu is a basketball legend & he will always be remembered.

I'm from SA and have been a fan since I was 9 years old so 30 years but the BIG 3 era is more than that I remember being at a playoff game where Timmy hit a shot with under a second to win and I ran down 3 flights high fives and hugs and race or anything else that made us all different didn't matter we were the Spurs family and it's a real thing here in San Antonio that didn't exist until the Big 3 of course David started the team way of thinking and when Pop came and put it all together it was beautiful. How often you hear a NBA coach say "It´s time to zip it", amazing. I don´t know if I´m off but that look of closeness that Pop has when he started coaching Tim, and Tony and Manu you wouldn´t see in the leage until then, that look of trust.
