    Damn, Steve Kerr played with the Jordan, Pippen, Duncan, Rodman, Manu, Tony Parker, David Robinson, Rasheed Wallace. No wonder the Warriors are as good as they are.

    • @TheMulToyVerse
      @TheMulToyVerse 5 лет назад +40

      And I hear that those Curry and Thompson guys are pretty good, too 😉
      Mark Jackson may have established a priority on Defense, but Kerr took everything to the next level and knows exactly what to do and when do it, as well as when to let the guys on the court figure something out when things aren’t working or to let the players make a call
      Kerr would be doing really well probably anywhere, but I think the Warriors are the team that fits him best
      But hey, when you played with and were coached by that many different personalities and ego’s and styles of play, you are pretty much prepared to handle anybody and anything basketball can throw at you
      Manu is probably the embodiment of all the best things any player can have:
      Basketball IQ, shooting, agility, never giving up on defense, driving, passing, getting to the line, moving without the ball... bat-swatting... (don’t swat bats kids... or raccoons... I mean he can because he’s vaccinated)
      He’d *better* make the HoF soon now that he’s called it a career. He was too good not to be in it
      One of my favorite players growing up and I was raised in a Warriors house when the Bulls were the biggest team on the planet.
      Hope he tries coaching, he’s damn special! Maybe he could tutor under Popovich before inheriting the keys to the kingdom?

    The most humblest super-star that ever played. The ultimate teammate anyone could have on their team. Manu could have been selfish and demanded more money & fame. He could have easily gone astray from the Spurs' franchise to seek fame and fortunes but this man just wanted to win.
    So much so, that he did literally anything! in order for the Spurs to win ball games & ultimately championships. Manu was the epitome of what every athlete & person should aspire to be. His humbleness and willingness to learn new things other than basketball is what makes him such a special person.
    It was an honor watching him play as he razzle dazzled us with his very unique set of moves on the court, whether it was in the Olympics playing with Argentina, or the NBA Finals with the Spurs. This man did it ALL! And he was one hell of a player.
    Never made any type of trade demands, or threw any teammates under the bus. He always put the onus on himself when it came to winning and losing. Manu is a basketball legend & he will always be remembered.

    He looked like Freddie Prinze Jr when he was young. Not a Spurs fan but i respect the trio of Timmy, Tony and Manu and of course Pop!
    Manu is the most entertaining Spurs for me.

    How often you hear a NBA coach say "It´s time to zip it", amazing. I don´t know if I´m off but that look of closeness that Pop has when he started coaching Tim, and Tony and Manu you wouldn´t see in the leage until then, that look of trust.
    And reggarding Manu´s strategic mind, that´s a prodigy growing up in Bahia Blanca, plain and simple.
