In this lesson, you will learn how to graph rational functions in algebra by calculating and graphing the vertical asymptotes and horizontal asymptotes of the function.
The vertical asymptotes are located by setting the denominator of the function equal to zero and solving for the values of "x". The horizontal asymptotes are found by examining the function's behavior as x approaches infinity.
Once we know the vertical and horizontal asymptotes, we can calculate a few points of the function in order to sketch the graph.
You are a blessing to this generation.
Absolutely killed it. Amazed at how simple you make things.
Great explanation! I love how your videos explain the concept rather than just showing how to solve it. It really helps me gain a deeper understanding of math. Thank you so much!
agreed
i was so stuck on my homework until i found this video!! thank you so much
Awesome!
Your courses like as a big treasure .you are the best teacher in the world .you are my hero
Sincerest thanks!

Hi, is part 12 included on the website as part of the streaming service?
Yes it is, and all lessons from all courses are included as well.
Limits at polynomial has three rules three are hard
Well-done!
Really appreciate it!
