Anybody have tried tested Multimedia class scheduler service on vs off for gaming? i have 2 questions: if you let it turned on and just tweak this service throught regedit, then you just decrease the background processes and applications up to 10%, but there is still 10% left theoretically which could be used for game. So i wonder if i disable this service completly if then the running game will utlilize full capacity of 100% without reserve those 10% for background apps . problem is that MCSS serice itself states that If this service is stopped, individual tasks resort to their default priority..... so that means behaviour of the game would be like before registry tweak- back to 20% reserved CPU utilization for background processess?
I personally just use windows 11 enterprise You can use the default media creation tool and a powershell command to get the tool too download and install the correct version No messing around with rufus And because its enterprise there is no work around required to make a local account because its a mandatory requirement for enterprise to be effortlessly installed onto an offline system Best part is i got the key for £5 and its a windows verified key meaning they will never revoke it Yes that means i spent a few days waiting for a reply to my email but it means i dont have to worry about it being stolen or any of that
Here’s the condensed how to clean / fresh install for Windows 11 22H2 for those asking for it. Hope it helps!
