Me too, I was kinda expecting him to be a master thief who pretended to be a detective to coverup his own tracks and put the blame on others for his crimes.
The idea of parodying Waluigi as Sherlock Holmes and Wario as Dr. Watson is great! I'm looking forward to the whole story. Thank you, dear Mashed Team!❤️🕵️♂️
@@buttAttack Yes, but it's a really good Sherlock Holmes story. Besides, I'm sure future installments will incorporate more Mario stuff, and this is to establish Walock as a character.

I like the fact that Waluigi did everything he could to fit Wario's absurd plans into a Plan B in case things went awry. He looked so happy that an explosion was involved.🤣
The Latin on the ring translates to "I'm going to win" which is Waluigi's signature catchphrase. May be a bit of a bold assumption, but I think he set up another decoy ring, and let that one get stolen too
If only Nintendo would take Mario Tennis 64 into account, and the Waluigi glowing eye animation. It could possibly be an unknown power, and rainbow like colors are seen to be very power in the Mario universe. (Prime example: using power stars.) Now it kinda seems like they scratched that idea and made him a theater kid 😒.
I'd watch an entire series devoted to them solving cases because this is beyond epic! I like the ending where it get's stolen again meaning a great detective's work is never done!
I was totally expecting the end to be "Waluigi stole the ring and convinced everybody it was DK" but damn he's really good at his job Can't wait for the next episode! Best not to let Luigi know about Waluigi's career 👀
Huh. First Dial M for Murder with Luigi, now Sherlock Holmes with Waluigi? I can’t tell if this is meant to be a sequel or a spinoff. But I’m enjoying it either way. Can’t wait for the rest of the story. 10/10. Would watch again.
This is why I'm still subbed to these guys. Every so often we get a BANGER animation like this, with quality voice-acting, well-constructed storytelling, all in one parody that perfectly fits the original idea. Great job in this one, mashed team! Looking forward to the rest of this arc!
This is everything I ever wanted 1. More Dial L for Luigi (Not really but eh) 2. Waluigi being not just successful but by fair means 3. Great story and script being accompanied by genuinely 10/10 voice act 4. Diddy Kong 5. GREAT animation
Well, with the characters, this might be a new universe, so Luigi could show up in the new franchise in a different manner than before. It will be neat to see more of what Mashed has in store next for Waluigi!
I like how in this Mashed universe, Luigi becomes a 20s era Dick while Waluigi is a much more successful Victorian era detective, Walock Holmes, of Brittain.
I love the fact that Walock Holmes is set in like a Victorian era style Mushroom kingdom while dial L for Luigi has a nior style feel to it. Very creative way to distinct the differences between the two separate stories.
I’m in love with this new series. Can’t wait for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to make a cameo as an antagonist, for accuracy’s sake. I mean you got the drugs, the genius mystery solving, Watson, the only real thing missing is Conan Doyle’s undying hatred of his own creation.
Can't believe they finished(?) Luigi's case just to begin with another detective story! And the homage to Waluigi's skill and Holmes' foreseeing things in fight, that is genius!
You know, I enjoy how much guile and influence Walock Holmes imbues upon others. Donkey Kong himself would've won if he just swallow his pride and shrug off everything Walock Holmes said.
Who else immediately thought of blue shells when Watson mentioned hard drugs? Also, can’t wait to see more of this series and the main one (if that one is going to have season 2)
Awesome episode! Great to see you use elements from various versions of Sherlock Holmes, from his fondness for drugs (the book version) to his fighting strategy (Robert Downey Jr's version).
Mashed done it again! Nice idea to make Waluigi Sherlock Holmes. This and Mashed Sonic videos are your best works that rival with Robot Chicken. Keep up the good work
This was so dope!!!😊🔥🔥🔥 I would love to see different minisodes of this! Gave me the feeling of not only Sherlock Holmes, but the styling and feeling of professor Layton! You guys are awesome and the animators are🔥🔥🔥
Weird seeing Waluigi go from fighting (and murdering) the Mystery Gang to becoming a detective himself. Makes me even more hype for Waluigi vs Shaggy Ball Z Part 4.
I thought Waluigi was going to end up with the ring at the end and that's what makes him different. This was just a good episode of sherlock holms with Nintendo IP.
At first I thought this was gonna be another “Waluigi number 1” Parody then I heard the drugs parts and the end definitely feels like Waluigi bit off more then he can chew being the (Mario) worlds best detective.
I was enjoying this until they got to the like about Wario using black powder in 'the war'. That is when I started loving this. That was the perfect Watson line. Also the 'how about hard drugs' line later. Chef Kiss.
Those mushrooms hit different in Victorian London 🍄
yup
yeah.

OK
Yeah
I was half expecting Waluigi to be the actual crook but he truly is the worlds greatest detective!

Yeah! Me too!
Yeah I haven't finished it but the main villain of Sherlock Holmes is mariaty like mario
But why? None of the original personality are on display. Its just a random Sherlock story skinned with random Mario characters..
The usage of Wario as Watson implies the existence of a regular Tson.

The fact that Waluigi is doing it better than Luigi just explains the big difference of skill they both have
To be fair, in L for Luigi, he was poisoned, which could have influenced his ability to think things through.
Jacobs got a point
@@guidojacobs2002
like his ability to spell pier? :D
every knows W is for winner
and L is for loser
sound logic I'd assume
Waluigi _does_ have the highest skill in both Mario and Sonic (look at their Olympic stats)
Warlock Holmes is the greatest detective in the Mushroom kingdom who can solve any mystery except for why they won’t let him into Super Smash Bros.
If only he knew about his alternate universe counterpart who answered that question...

Once again Mashed takes an odd idea and makes it work out in a totally awesome way
If this doesn’t go dark for once, this will be one of my favourite Mashed series’.
Also, love Walock’s pipe being a Mario pipe, great touch.
Let's go, Daisy finally makes an appearance! Love her design and voice; can't wait for more.
Unless I’m getting my parodies mixed up (or you meant in this particular series 😅) daisy has made some appearances.

Walock Holmes also known as the world's greatest detective
Tell that to Bruce Wayne.
That's what it says on his card!
This is one of the most well written pieces of art I've ever seen
The presence of Wario as Watson to Waluigi's Wahlock holes impies there is a regular "Tson" running around somewhere.
Mashed keeps putting out so much GOOD stuff. NEVER Regret Subscribing to them. At all.
Diddy being a demolitionist doesn't surprise me. He did poison Luigi, after all.
"Or I could whip us up some hard drugs!"
Most accurate version of Sherlock since the original books
The IQ of Sherlock Holmes and the cunning of waluigi makes incredible content

The only thing more amazing than Waluigi as Sherlock Holmes is the fact that he’s actually GOOD at this.

I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing this become a full-blown series since I really like the style lol
Sherlock Holmes was a talented Boxer. Waluigi was one of the boxers in the Remake of Game & Watch Punch-Out in Game & Watch Gallery 4.
I’m looking forward to more episodes into this series!! It is amazing ❤

I can’t help but find that funny.
Heck Walock didn’t seem angry he did that, more annoyed but still knowing Watson was just trying to help.
PLEEEEEEEEEASE give more of this amazing content! Waluigi and Wario as the iconic detective duo is simply a stimulant to seducing to sweep aside!
This is my favorite video so far, and that's saying a LOT, because I've greatly enjoyed mashed for years
And right after Dial L for Luigi as well!
Certainly like the detective/mystery spin on these characters.
I NEED this to be a real game. A silly Mario-esq detective game with Waluigi and Wario as Sherlock and Holmes? Freaking genius.
Great stuff. I never would have thought this idea could work so well. But it does.😊
Ok this is honestly so nice to see Waluigi in the spotlight for once
