@@djluko2 yeah. I think it also depends on the setting. If they're there for you or just to have a good time. Dropping a new song can also make the crowd go wild
I love the way you simplify things. Many users of ableton go into so much technical details and make it seem harder than it should be. Thanks for sharing videos like this!!!
TIP: You don't need to unfollow them, when the pop comes up to follow them, you can exit out the window and it will acknowledge as a follow for hyper but there will be no follow on instagram.
Love the little edit trick at the end. I would always go for full blown remixes which would be hard and time consuming. Glad to know it doesn't always has to be!
Thanks for showing that is not that difficult to create an edit. Most beginner producers out there think they need tons of plugins and tweaks to make something great :)
I would love to see a video on how you sort your music, what you call songs (extended mix) (do you include feat. XXXX) And how you sort your playlists etc…
This video showed me that I did everything right the last years when searching music to play. Except that I rarely DJ and most of the time only on private parties like birthday parties lmao
Good to know I've been going around the right routes for this! I had doubts about how to do the edits but you definitely confirmed I was doing it right lol. Hell yeah!
Love the tips! It was funny to me that the 2 edit tracks on soundcloud you played are both ones I downloaded for Haunted Ball 2024. I didnt knownyou could edit tracks like that either tho, super good to know. Peace James!
There is a thing called auto Shazam as well. Basically links your Shazam w your Spotify and it allows you to put the phone in your pocket and it will create a playlist w the songs it find. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Yeah I did that too and it worked pretty good but I found 1001 track lists better maybe worth a try plus you can put released tracks straight into Beatport
😇James Hype is a Alien!!!😅 The Force/Love Flows through this JeDi Master Mixer and yet he still makes time to help create more Jedis!!! By far, you're the most talented and my favorite Dj!!!!💪🔥💪
love all the videos; technical stuff and the gigs! how easy is the process of getting these tracks approved for live performance.. do you have to contact every label and pay each of them for the privelage, or not in every case?
James, is this new course much different than your DDJT course with Phil? Thank you for always sharing your knowledge for us all to benefit. Real HypeFam Don’t Stop!! ❤🙌🙏😎
QUICK TIP FOR HYPEDDIT: You donthave to follow them, click follow it opens the box up, but that's it, you can just click to the next step without actually following them.
Spotify enhanced random select… eventually going to convince the algorithm not to pick pop tracks… maybe it’s my kids wrecking my algorithm and I don’t have the digital personal of a 14 year old
The thing i do when downloading from soundcloud, instead of following and unfollowing the artist, i just open and close the popup and i can just continue. The only thing I cannot bypass is the soundcloud follow/repost/like popup and the spotify one but anything else i can just open then close the popup and it doesn't get mad 😬
Best way to find music is AI music app... just type make me a edm awsome beat or watever u like , u choose to add vocal or not and thats it.. then u download and play it
James you could make a video on how do you create the set after the music selection, would be really useful.

it's just so down-to-earth seeing you click through pop-ups and sh*t to get to your tracks
James, I've been djing for 3 years now and you are so helpful, thank you man
James is the man! This dude is the opposite of a gatekeeper with all these how-to videos.
One thing I learned from James Hyper is to be different, don't choose the same music as everyone else, thank you James Hyper for that
True. But you still need some familiarity to get the people hyped. It's hard to get people dancing on tunes they don't know.
@@DJTimeLock sometimes it's possible to pump a crowd if you can get them at just the right moment, with just the right track
@@djluko2 yeah. I think it also depends on the setting. If they're there for you or just to have a good time. Dropping a new song can also make the crowd go wild
Bro his clips are all the same long buildups into famous song

You have been dropping gold, one of the biggest influences and best help on my current journey, thank you 🎉❤
The Bass of the "Body" song is actually just a stock preset of Serum. Its the first one in the "Bass" category and its called "BA Ampology" ;)
Thanks James for those always amazing tips!
hahaha so cool that james hype doing what we are doing :))
I've loved dance music since the early 90s .....I'm nearly 47 and watching this is really making want to start being a dj
No other dude like Hype!!! Makes the craziest transitions, just... OMG!
Thanks James for always sharing your own amazing tips and trying to educate the crowd and the Djs ❤❤❤
just a tip you dont have to follow instagram requests . just open tab and close it .
Thanks for showing that is not that difficult to create an edit. Most beginner producers out there think they need tons of plugins and tweaks to make something great :)

I love SoundCloud remixes, wish more downloads were available!

Absolutely fantastic video. Thank you so much James. Who does this?
That's just your uniqueness, you put your stamp on every Sound you Likes.
Probably a video that can change one beginner DJ’s career.
Awesome, thank you. Great insights. Appreciate the share!
Most surprising thing to me was the fact that he does not have beatport streaming so he can preview the full track. But fire tips in here!
Super useful about edits. It seems so easy and unique 👍
Dont actually follow them, there’s a loophole where you can just open and click out of the tab and it will let you proceed
And how do you manage to do that?
Super Hype. Thx so much for info! ❤🔥
Surely it will help a lot. thank you james❤❤❤

Are not released, so you don't pay anything... you just play them! 😅
Bro just play them!
Great Video! Thank you for including Sprinter - Sprinter Fam!!! The DnB drops lately have been amazing! Please post the Bootshaus set.
Bro, fire info!!!

There is a google extension to download any tracks on SoundCloud, mp3 though
You will get very low quality that will sound terrible on big speakers
Im not james hype but i do exactly the same as him, even edit tracks....i feel glad that he does the same

So Dope and helpful!!!!!!!
Amazing video. Helpful
NGL, was totally scanning the beatport pages in case any of my releases where scrolled past lol

Oh yes! Pop is shit for me. Pop is the usual masses without expression.

Wiked video man I use exactly the same process
Hi James,
Please could you make a video on how you would become a successful Dj in 2024 if you are just starting out. Thank you bro! 👊🏼 🎵🌅🌊🎧🎹💻
This video is worth lots! Who does this??????
Long gone are the days of hanging around in record shoppings trying to network to find tunes

You got my music 2 bro
What comes to edm (as a genre), I can find so much music, that I don't need to do my edits.
Great James! Thanks for the insights 🪩

What kind of software do you use to make beats bro? I don't know the application of 3rd method.
