The Planet of the Apes movie series is full of awesome characters but what is the best way to rank them? In this ranking video, I decide which of these characters I would like to sit down and share a banana with. Koba shooting Automatic weapons one handed with little to no recoil during the charge towards the humans, he was by far the most terrifying ape

i think proximus is a chill funny guy to eat food with. because he is like an uncle. and you wont have any problem with him even if you are a human as long as you dont do stuff that triggers him.
It's true. As far as bad guys in movies go, he is pretty chill.
Not so different to some powerful people irl, they are really chill if you are on his side and don't push his buttons. But if you work for him that's another story.
Only reason I am talking to proximus is to hear him say “what a wonderful day!!!” Over and over again 😂

@@ChimpTonythey also definitely don’t grow naturally where the story takes place, which seems to primarily be America. Might be interesting to get different films in different environments though

Just realised I never really loved Caesar that much as a main hero cause he is too stoic, too boring, and that's why I like Noa a lot more as a main hero, he is relatable and seems super chill and kind hearted and interesting. Ironically the side characters are generally more fun, the chill, wise orangutans (Maurice, Raka) and dramatic villains (Proximus, Koba) all have very strong, distinctive personalities, definitely the type to spend time with although I'd be careful around the villains.
Caesar is great, he’s a leader and that’s why he’s always (usually) stoic, calm and collected.
Bro there’s no point in asking who’s the best for sharing a bannana with. Cesear is the best hands down

I mean no matter how ruthless koba was, narrative matters a lot and the evolutionary process they show in the movies is really realistic and kobas perspective is objectively right

easily bad ape if he gives me that thumbs up my day will go straight to the good side and not to mention in the 3rd movie when all the bombs hit and he dives to save the baby apes its just showing that he does have a little bit of bravery. Also Ceasar would be cool too because it would be like talking to Jesus of the apes like when he got kinda crucified in war for the planet of the apes just to make sure everyone was safe and lastly Luca he really was a huge help for Ceasar and was very strong but I kinda started crying like a baby when he died but it kinda brightened me up first when he said "at least this time I protected you" to Ceasar and when Nova put that little flower on his head and then she started crying it really made me happy that I wasn't the only one extremely disappointed

20: Everyone else (I don’t care about any of the other Apes like Noa’s parents and friends and the rest of the army)
19: Bright Eyes (She died in like 5 minutes. She might be important for story, but she died in 5 minutes!)
18: Sylva (A good villain. Not an amazing villain, but a pretty decent one)
17: Cornelia (I was minorly interested in her giving birth during Dawn. Key word is minorly)
16: Cornelius (An adorable little baby! There’s not much else to him, but he’s very cute)
15: Lake (This character is so underrated. She was important in the great es-APE in War)
14: Winter (This guy is a total sellout! In the like 20 minutes he was in the film, he was interesting. Being one of the most loyal to betraying Caesar)
13: Raka (The orangutans are my favorites. They are all such chill dudes! Love this guy!)
12: Buck (He didn’t have much screentime, but the little time he had was great. He was the first to sacrifice himself for Caesar)
11: Ash (I cried for him too. How dare Koba kill this adorable Ape! It was nice when he decided not to kill the guy too)
10: Red/Donkey (Him saving Caesar’s life in War was a satisfying, emotional journey)
9: Noa (Fully worthy of being the new Caesar! He was a pretty great main character for the new trilogy)
8: Proximus Caesar (WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!! This movie is only like 2 weeks old and he’s already an iconic character!)
7: Blue Eyes (Essentially the main character of Dawn. It’s a shame he was killed so quickly in War, but he was great while he lasted)
6: Luca (I bawled my eyes out when he died. He was such a nice monkey and he gave Nova a flower for the sake of it)
5: Bad Ape (This comic relief character takes the darkest film in the series and makes it fun. But he’s also a true hero)
4: Rocket (Caesar’s ride or die! He didn’t do much in Dawn, but in Rise and especially War, his arc was great. Caesar’s first rival to Caesar’s first friend)
3: Koba (Still the best villain in the series! His impact still exists in War and Kingdom)
2: Maurice (His relationship with the kids in both Dawn and War is so wholesome. Such a chill dude. Caesar’s first and last friend with him till the end)
1: Caesar (He is the main character. The whole series is about his journey. Nuff said)
Maurice is the ultimate gigachad
Id low key kick it with proximus, he's a power hungry sleeze but he doesn't seem sadistic or psychotic and he's charismatic as hell. Plus he's very inquisitive and intelligent so I feel like he'd be fun to talk to
Bad Ape is nice and all, but remember he shot at Ceaser and his buddies becoz he thought they were humans.
in the comics the humans shot his child. Hence why he is always so hesitant and nervous of people

You forgot an ape called Lighting he wears a fur brown cloth on his neck coming down to his body and has white spots he appears in kingdom of the planet of the apes and is the one shot by Mae but I can tell he’s a hard pass and he’s one of the side bad guys he is seen next to Silva on a horse in the human hunt.
He is for sure a hard pass. He had a super cool look though. Best fashion among the apes. Haha
