A little grated gruyère cheese,a lo to of mozzarella cheese grated, a little red onion or shallots, and smoked bacon finely chopped or could add ham whatever you have but give it it try x
I love Jamie Oliver, honestly I'm a big fan. He seems like a great guy, has great recipes, I love his books and he's repeatedly transformed cooking and attitudes to food and animal welfare in the UK for the better etc. He deserves his success and I wish him much more of it....
... but has he ever made anything without chilli in? I bet he puts them on his cornflakes.

Just tried this. Absolutely phenomenal. Progressively looked better with each one (still nothing like the vid). Chef gets fed last so I’m a happy chappy. Kids loved them without the chilli and didn’t mind they looked a bit of a wreck on the plate. Cheers Jamie 👍

Tried this recipe this morning, the eggy cheesy spicy flavours really work together, the easy salsa was a bit runny so I added a quarter of an avacado

I always thought French toast was a little daunting but this looks so good I’ll have to give it a try!
Never thought about using crumpets for french toast. But I am gonna stick with sweet french toast even with a crumpet as I tend to eat crumpets with jam or nutella as it is as I hate savoury french toast.
