      I think they were building them for the deportees they were sending to rowanda. Rwandans are not like british they don't leave empty homes while the homeless are in need of them or they can be used. There's a ton of empty houses in britain that are being hoarded.       I was thinking that if the U.K. government did pay for the accommodation then technically they should own it but I suspect that the contract doesn’t include ownership rights being transferred to the U.K. government. The alternative view is that the Rwandan government doing what the hell it likes because they can.

      They are not illegals. They are being forced to give up their legal right to have asylum in the UK, and ask Rwanda instead.
      And Rwanda said they can just about manage 500 a year.
      So it would take 200 years for them to empty our asylum queue. It’s a huge waste of tax payers money.,

    Rwanda plan to cost UK £1.8m for each asylum seeker, figures show. On top of the half a billion it has already cost us. Thats 5000 council houses so far and another 18 more for each asylum seeker. And they want to make being smelly a criminal offence. Thats another house every two years for every smelly person imprisoned. I’d happily pay to have the Tories imprisoned though.
