I just wanted to say thank you for your company and entertainment over the past year. I finally got up the nerve to fit a block pattern over the holidays, thanks to you and it's been amazing! I know you're not a tailor but I would love, love, love a cloth coat or light swing coat drafting video in the future :)
Everything you made is so lovely! How satisfying to see it all together. You've truly accomplished wonderful things in 2021 and I'm glad I got to be here to see you do it!
You're the BOMB! Seriously, very talanted, and inspiring. You are my favorite Dressmaker, Costumer and Historian. You dont showboat, youre not cutsey, I love your Retro look. I've been doing this a long time and still learn a ton from you! Thanks!
A truly impressive body of work. You also get an honorable mention on the 6 projects I was able to finish this year! You were instrumental in keeping me motivated. Can't wait to see what comes next and I hope you achieve your goals 👍
Seeing the Dolman Sleeve Dress reminded me to tell ya, I made a long, full, flannel nightgown using the Dolman Sleeve bodice pattern I created from watching you do your magic. 😉 I love the nightgown, as well as my furbabies, whom demand to lay on the section I am not taking up. 😂 Thank you so very much for all that you do. 🤩
About halfway through this video I paused, grabbed my sewing journal, and wrote down a bunch of notes from the first half about ideas for my own wardrobe. Some incredibly beautiful outfits were made in 2021! Also, your Mugler inspired jacket made me so nostalgic, because in the 90s my mom was obsessed with Mugler and she owned several bodices/jackets that really reminded me of the one you made. Beautiful stuff. And I hope this year you find some more time for writing, I know I need to as well!
So impressed by all you accomplished last year! And here I sit, with a pile of adorable 1930’s repro fabric that’s been sitting on my dresser since 2020, along with a pattern for “Harlow Beach Pajamas.” Did you know fabric could accumulate dust? 😉 I really need some of your motivation/inspiration. ❤️
Thank you! I am well acquainted with dust myself I am afraid yes 😂 I have fabrics that have been waiting for the motivation to kick in for years too, it's part of the process
All your garments are stunning. You are so talented in all you do: the dressmaking, obviously, but the set designs, jewellery making, photography ,in fact everything.
I just found you about 2 months ago and I am in love with your channel. You are a very talented and darling young woman. Keep your chin up. Huge success is just around the corner!!
I am wishing you blessings of health and happiness. So many lovely things. Nothing but enjoyment from your videos. It's been a tough year and appreciate your talent immensely.
They are all beautiful. But who would have thought that fabric with lemons all over it would be so beautiful? You did. And of course... you were right. Looking forward to another wonderful year. Thank you.
A true master tailor! These dresses are so beautiful - an ode to femininity. Of course, I'm immediately attracted to black - elegant, sophisticated and rich. All of your designs are just marvelous. Best wishes.
it is pure delight to reminisce with you about all the beautifully designed and created garments from 2021. And equally delightful to see how your channel is growing - kudos to you, my dear!!!
You are super talented! That robe was my favorite, love a hood robe. Alas grad school had sucked up all my time and creativity so I have been using your vids to fulfill my sewing needs 😁😁
So glad to see this video- I was praying for the people affected by the fires and was hoping you were not in their path. All of the things you make are lovely but those Victorian gowns are simply incredible.
I love seeing all of your projects together! Your videos have bee so helpful throughout this past year from showing lapped zippers, dart manipulations, and creating block patterns. Thank you for continuing to make videos for us to learn and enjoy!
Great fashion show. I enjoy your videos a lot. I like making curtains, home decor and other crafts. I've always disliked making close. You sure make me want to try again. Such beautiful outfits. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us.🦋🪲
Glad to see you post! I was concerned that the Marshall fire may have come your way. Love your 2021 makes, esp. the Cicada, Carmine, and Mandragora (sp?)/Whitby gowns and pieces, but the one I can see myself making and wearing regularly is the "medieval monk" long robe, which looks so luxurious! Completely love it. Happy New Year!
Hi, I've just found you whilst recovering from a femur replacement in hospital here in the UK and loving your videos. Completely agree that we should sew how we are happy if it gives the results that we are looking for. I am the very happy owner of several machines, my favourite being a singer 221 complete with box and lots of feet (which I rarely use). I found it in a junk shop 22years ago for princely sum so £15.00 Happy Sewing! Pat x
Wow!!! Just Wow!!! Your work is impeccable. There is not a dud in there. Each piece beautiful, tailored and you. I know it was the objective, but it made me feel like Indiana Jones was going to come in and drag you off on an adventure. You nailed setting the mood and time period. I am so blessed to have found you and your work. Dresses, pants, skirts, bugs, costumes... they are all lovely. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself. We are so much richer because of it.
SOOO GLADE THAT I FOUND YOUR RUclips. NOW I AM WANTING TO SEW SOME DRESSES FOR MY ACTIVITIES. ALSO STARTED TO ALTER SOME OF MY OUTFITS TO CHANGE THE ITEM AND RECICLE
Hi Bianca , happy new year to you. I have watched with interest every video you have put on youtube and enjoyed them very much. If you’re open to suggestions, would you be able to demonstrate how you would draft a dress without the waist seam please? I wear dresses a lot of the time but always find them more comfortable if that waist seam isn’t there, and of course there’s always the added benefit of not having an interrupted pattern.
All absolutely gorgeous and gorgeous ON you! I'm so jealous of the all-in-one and cap sleeves. I have enormous upper arm batwings from losing 80 lbs in a year, and also still needing to lose more, so I DARE NOT show my upper arms. I always add a cuffed elbow sleeves to patterns. I need to branch out!
So many lovely things! I learned so much this year and have made many cool garments because of your videos. Possibly too many lovely things? Never! But I seriously understand the fear of too many things!!
Happy New year Bianca ! I was waiting for this video and I'm glad you were able to make a little less than the year before. As always, I wanted to thank you for your work that is a huge inspiration for me
You really outdid yourself last year with all the amazing outfits. I can't wait to see the Palm Springs pants outfit. It looks so cute on you. I would love the see a tutorial on those pants.
Thank you Sherry! They are the same 1940's trousers from my video back in 2020, just with the legs straightened off is all ruclips.net/video/DjzRY5OXl0k/видео.html
Thank you for the showcase of your creations in 2021. I would like to see how you did the trousers you wore on your trip out west. I wish I had the talent to create half of the things you do.
Thank you for a great year. Your videos make me feel that I can be glamorous and creative. Fortified with that confidence and inspired by you, sometimes I even am! Best of luck for the coming year. I still can’t wait to read your novels.
One can never make too many garments, I say. I'll also say that what one does with the finished garments is, of course, something else entirely, but tomorrow is another day.
Everything you made in 2021 was absolutely beautiful and showing the Patreon garments was icing on the cake. I remember you giving the number of garments you planned to make for the year. I had to laugh, because I knew that would not be the case. I am looking forward to seeing all the lovely new garments you make in 2022. Happy New Year, dear!
So inspiring! I’m almost done my perfect fitted bodice to start pattern drafting (referencing your vids) and I made my daughters some flannel dresses I was really proud of. I’m ready to make a ton of pieces for my dream wardrobe! I looove seeing your makes cause they’re so dreamy. I love your palette and the styles you choose. Just perfection!
Everything is beautiful, it all suits you perfectly and the crop top suit is wow, the Autumn Whitby dresses/blouses with moth decoration are sublime. Today’s make up 👌
I LOVE the lemon dress video! I got there from the closet clearout video (which was a random algorithm rec, I think), and I think it was the video that inspired me to check out more of your channel and subscribe. Now, you're one of my favorite channels for sewing - and crafting - content ^^ I've definitely watched that lemon dress video more than once, the process and commentary is so fun and the finished dress is stuunning. The fabric is nice but in your final pattern it just feels so much more elevated.
Wow, Bianca 👍 You are so talented and I can’t wait to try out more of your great tutorials! Thank you for sharing all the goodies and a happy new year to you and your family 🥳 May 2022 bring happiness, fun and creative sewing as well as writing ✍️ With love from Denmark ❤️
Bravo, my dear, BRAVO! Every one a gem! ( {That's a lot of pressure.} Don't try to top yourself, just proceed as usual.) Looking at these, you make me want to sew! I finally finished a working mock-up of the most expensive pattern I have ever bought - Prominent Designer A 879 with a center piece very much like your Carmine Gown. I am ever so slightly obsessed with that center stomach piece. I have been planning a paletot/redingote/long coat sort of thing with this center piece for a good long while, now. I don't know if it will happen this year, but it is one step closer. Beautiful collection! Excellent work!
Love ! love ! all the makes and it looks so amazing on you! The black velvet dress is one that I have to make soon …even if I only wear it around the house!
Happy New Year Bianca!!! Another WOW video. You are one of my favourites on youtube. Love love love everything you make! This overview messed with my mind. I really thought the Slytherin housecoat was longer and the Cicada gown shorter ago. Odd how memory can play tricks like that. Still everything was so lovely, just Wow. :}
That black velvet dress is so va-va-voom! It is so flattering to your figure!
Thank you Mary! I need to wear that one out to dinner 🖤
I forgot about the fancy dressing gown! That was so swish. Also, would defo love a video on the trouser projects
