I barely take these off, they are extremely comfortable! The noise canceling is awesome and the bass boosted is my favorite thing ever. I use these mainly for music and playing games, with gaming it sounds amazing and I finally understand what a games soundtrack can do to highlight an experience. All in all, I love Sony and they are definitely killing it in the headphone game, you got a lifetime customer here!
I have the slightly older original XB950BT and bought a second pair (used) on eBay for listening to stuff on my PC, but they did break by doing nothing major to them (maybe from an accidental drop from a small distance, stand to tabletop?). I'm not sure if they were compromised before I had gotten them though. My original XB950BT is still kicking well though! Just bought the xb910 and the volume is way lower than the 950n. I agree with OP. You have to go hard wired to get the same volume. The sound is not as good with the newer line in BT mode and I just can't go back after being spoiled by the 950n's
I've have the N1's the bass syncs with my heart beat like they're the same thing the Bass feels like a separate audio from the sound the sound is more clear like your in an empty hallway and you merged the both. The 900n's I borrowed a friends. It have a mix between the Bt and the 1000m3. Best of both worlds. I picked up a pair of XB950N1's from BuyDig off of ebay some time ago for $100 and it was the best purchase ever. These are great for when I want the bass my QC35's cannot give me. They looked and felt brand new to boost.

I'll wait until they refresh the XB950 line. I really like the bass and my XB950B1 are awesome however, they cut out if there is a lot of wireless interference. When I'm at the gym my headphones used to cut out before I fount out you could change the Bluetooth connection from sound quality to stability mode by holding the volume down and power button when you power on the headphones. I don't know why Sony hasn't refreshed their headphones to Bluetooth 5.0 but until they do I'll keep my current headphones.
Skull Candy recently came out with Hesh 3. Although they are more on the lower end of the pricing, but they work great too. Check them out and see how you like them.
I would really spring for these if you could attach a mic to it and it could connect to PS4. That would make this a must buy. Guess I gotta wait for Sony to make another decent gaming headset. Might still pick them up because I like them, but I don’t really have a need for them right now.
I got some beats solo wireless 2 headphones when I bought my mac they are starting to give up (Earcups torn random disconnecting random volume changes) And I'm looking for some nice bass headphone for under $100 what should I buy?.
Please, give an advice: which headphones in price range of 100-150$ are the best? Qualities that important for me are a good noise isolation and overall sound quality. Currently using Honor Sport, now looking for an upgrade. Bluetooth only!
The Real King of BASS Is the Skullcandy Wireless Crushers, I had the Sony xb 950 bt I thought that had a lot bass but then I bought the Skullcandys and Im blown away on the amount of bass it feels like subwoofers lol and it also has 40hrs of battery life and the best bit is you can change how much bass you want on the headphone itself.
But they work really well in my opinion, that bass slider on skull candys is bananas plus the fact that it even works with an auxiliary cord is 👌🏽. That’s why i prefer the skull candys

Here I am still rocking my Skullcandy crusher wireless. 3years n going just need to change the earpads.
Wow
Haha I got a pair of the generic beats rip off and they actually lasted a year and a half
They're good but lack Sub bass. Only thumping sharp bass is where it shines
@@bougelaal false
Skullcandys sound like, and are, subwoofers
They thump as hard as you set them to.
I had the mdr 950s and I had them for 3 year and they got broke on me and I was 😢😢😢
Are the WH-XB900N’s better than the beats solo 3 wireless or the MPOW 059’s?
Just bought the xb910 and the volume is way lower than the 950n. I agree with OP. You have to go hard wired to get the same volume. The sound is not as good with the newer line in BT mode and I just can't go back after being spoiled by the 950n's
So, is MDR-XB950n1 better than WH-XB910?(for sound quality)
Why did i read the title Bass and not Bass? 🤦🏾♂️
I did that too
Because it's pronounced bass not bass.
What’s the difference? 🧐

I have two Sony SRS XB10 Bluetooth speakers and I often play music and hold them up to me ears, that's how much I love base.
I think there was a quality control issue with the Hinges on the old design. Mine broke in my bag after a year or so.
But the sound compared to 950n1 sounds more Fuller less clear a little less Bass but still promenade Bass. NC is a little less than the 1000m3 but deafening with music. I'd stick with the N1's because movie night's amazing with them on
Skull Candy Crusher 360 wireless is the true king of bass.
karimzswed1982 yeah they really are
Agreed
You might be right but i dont need nobody screaming at me what are those!!!!!!
Amazing video as always! I have the new Sony XB900N and I love the bass on them.
What about Skullcandy crusher?
Moises Leyva when he did it around 1 or 2 years ago it seemed biased, he clearly had Sony winning and making it seem the best
If you dont have both how can you tell
This guy is a fanboy for Sony headphones. He compared then to the Skullcandy a while back but of course he had the Sony winning
Wasiq Rashid i have had both and sony easily wins. Sound quality, bass ( it doesnt rattle your head but they Sound SO MUCH BETTER) they dont break as easily as skullcandys trust me i have had my Sonys for over a year wich is more than the skullcandys and on top of This the Sonys fell off of my head and they are still pumping Those lovely tunes
In my opinion the skullcandys are overrated when you compare Them to the Sonys which almost the same Price (on sale) they dont look as good as the skullcandys tho but the Sonys win everywhere Else than the looks in my opinion
@@martinager5956 nah, the sony does have better sound but the bass doesn't come as close to the skullcandy, it may have deeper bass but it doesn't have more bass than the skullcandy
Me too! I’ve tot them for 4 years now and they never failed on me
You already know jud loves his sony headphones🔥
Trueeee
Wt do u think abt Skullcandy crusher 2..? 🔥🔥 🔥🔥 🔥🔥 🔥 it's the heavy bass headphone
But built quality is garbage in Skullcandy
He did a comparison and the n1 were better
Trash build and sound quality
HELL YES, IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
I own a pair of wh900n and it has the clear bass feature you just have to go in the EQ settings which is right below the preset EQ (the same as the 950)
have you owned both the 900n & 950n1's? if so, which would you choose in terms of sound (bass & clarity)? features is a given for the newer model. I have the 950n1's and just purchased the 1000xm3's and too be honest the anc is amazing plus the features are fun but the sound is a few db lower with sony eq and 3rd party eq...moreover when I compared them with my 950n1's i truly felt that I enjoyed the sound signatures on the n1's more. I would appreciate any input. thanks!

@@Reaperguy67 Calm your ass down man. Are you fucking 5 years old? you realize that saying that makes you look bad more than anything.
No, on the xb900n there is actually a mode that gives that extra bass pluss allot more like vocals and more of that stuff
What's the mode called?
Crushers ANC *Release*
Sony: Why do I hear boss music?
😁😁😁😁😂
Who else watches him just to feel jealous? ♥️😭😂
Fr i cant even afford xbox live :/
Grind bro
He earned all this stuff
@Commander Zavala for you maybe but i can barely bypass with 30$ knockoffs :/
Yeah they expensive but I got an older pair of Corsair HS50's and using a pair of HS70 earcups for comfort but the 50's are about 25-30 bucks on Amazon usually and they vibrate my head just fine. Super crisp audio and nice deep bass and I've been using my audio amplifiers on my phone to get my volume to 150% they've held up for about a year now and still sound brand new
You're pathetic
I picked up a pair of XB950N1's from BuyDig off of ebay some time ago for $100 and it was the best purchase ever. These are great for when I want the bass my QC35's cannot give me. They looked and felt brand new to boost.
The office is coming along nicely my man 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Which headphones should I buy now? Are there any better ones right now to buy?
My XB950N1 hinges broke after 6 months another friend's lasted 2 months.
Mine made it to a year. Bet it was the left hinge that broke right? I was lucky to get this to fall under warranty and got a replacement from the shop I bought them from.
@@teebs90 yes the left side first.
Mine broke twice
How 🤦🏽♂️. Y’all must just be throwing them in y’all bag like they regular
I have xb950bt and they got broken 2 times and it sucks ! Now I will really take care of the headphones and the cushions of xb950bt got in such a bad condition very fast I hate it because they don't even have a replacement for the cushions and I am afraid to buying wh 1000xm3 because the cushions aren't durable at all !
Excellent video as always, but I’m waiting for the next generation 1000xs’. Keep moving forward and also much thanks!
Skull Candy recently came out with Hesh 3. Although they are more on the lower end of the pricing, but they work great too. Check them out and see how you like them.
Cant belive you didnt review the crusher 360's yet. They beat EVERYTHING
No way
Even the skull candy crushers non 360 clap all these
My XB950N1 did break on the left side. I was never too hard on them, but they did break on me. It was sad since the sound was amazing.
Always a great vid bro, keep going, your reviews are awesome
Found the sony xb900n yesterday for €99 a steal 🥳
I have the 950 N1’s, top tier headphone, very comfortable, battery lasts me at least a week and the noise cancelling with bass is very acceptable
How long have you been using this headphone?
Fahmi Hisyam around a year. Very good headphones
Have the xb950n1 for a year now. No problems and I believe so far hands down the best out there for the sound quality
Just came to your review before buying this on prime day, thank you!!
I'm been requesting this for so long! I have the MDR-XB950N1 and I'm looking to upgrade
That is a 100% bad-ass loft or apartment you got there, mister. I don't even really know why, but I love the trim, clean, sparse look of it.
Thank you for making this video i was curious about the xb900n
Remembered watching your beats pro reviews back in the day.. memories 😊
Thanks for your info. Great job. Dankjewel.
I purchased the bose qc2 35 c headphones and a laptop....satisfied with my purchase
950bt is old model
@@orvelipeikko3527 I know I was going to buy the 950n1 but then I saw the skullcandys and got them instead.
But skull candys tho😏. I think they are the king of bass. I’ve owned both. However Sonys have much clearer sound.
All they did was put vibration motors in each cup. Sony wins again hands down
But they work really well in my opinion, that bass slider on skull candys is bananas plus the fact that it even works with an auxiliary cord is 👌🏽. That’s why i prefer the skull candys
Thanks for this video i viewed this video a while back and I purchase the newer ones and just wanted to say I really enjoyed them the best headphones I ever bought
I own the xb950s, the leather ear cups start wearing out, peeling off and stuff. Might replace mine to get the 900ns
The current bass king is the Skullcandy Crusher Wireless
Frfr got mine on now
They were while they lasted..... I owned a pair for about 4 months, until they started falling apart..... it was very disappointing because they had a great sound.
Not good having a lot of bass in your head.
@@MarioWills damn you must use yours heavily... I've had mine for just off of two years my only damage is the deterioration of the earcups
@@RasholeKoba for me It also lasted for 2 years but the headbands snapped on each cup and I lost the warranty for them so now have to wait to get more money to buy another pair. They're still great tho. I am missing the bass that I always blasted with. :(
Ive had n1s for 2 years and only problem i had is the mesh under the foam cups ripped a bit. How do these hold up?
I have a two pairs of the light grey headphone and they both broke on me! It made me sad because they're my favorite type of headphones! I didn't even drop it! I always treated them with care!
In my country the brand XB950B1 is 66.6$. Should I take it? I know it's an old device, still micro USB, or should I take a used XB900N also for 66.6 $
I would like to ask does 900N still work if you use jack however the battery is dead?
Love these headphone reviews 🥰.
You know we love that bass!
How does the sound compare to the 1000xm3’s if I lower the bass on the xb900’s? If they sound similar the xb900 would be a steal for $100 less
love the Sony SB900 Line, but moved to Nuraphone. Have you reviewed those?
I've got the Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT
They seemed to have weird break-in period tho, they started out with no added bass then got warmer.
