@@veneratedmortal4369 Beats don't sound good, true. But a good and rich bass is a nice thing to have. It shouldn't be ONLY bass or boosted, low quality bass. But often what seperates good from mediocre speakers/headphones is their ability to play very low bass that is still clear and doesn't sound mushy. Although tbh none of these bluetooth headphones seem to be able to do so.
@Ezugo Obuekwe good headphones don't sound like AAC. My ANC Bluetooth headphones cost a quarter of the price and have AptX and they were released 3 years ago. The $100 Sony ones have APTXHD and these don't even have regular AptX.
Depends on implementation. SBC sounds noticeably worse on most of my headphones, but some bluetooth speakers only support it still sound quite good. There was a discussion on XDA indicating SBC can actually sound better than AptX if artificial limitations on bitrate are removed - AptX apparently compresses the dynamic range. With the Jabra 65t, I've noticed SBC sounding worse on my phone (Note 9) than my Windows 10 laptop (where it sounds almost as good as AAC). However, if manufacturers can't get a good SBC implementation, it's a dealbreaker if you plan to use it for laptops.
@@500features depends on what you're listening to. Aptx allows to send and receive more data over Bluetooth. I had these, but the sound when walking that the hinge design makes was so annoying that I returned them and I am about to get the Xm4s.I loved em but that was a selling point for me
TheChazas wow. What are you some kind of Sony fanatic? If you care about sound and want to hear what an artist intends for you to hear, don’t buy from any of these huge brand name headphone company’s. They have all become gadgets that are also headphones
The QC35 came with the airline adapter, but the QC35 II didn't (when I bought mine a year or two ago). The free headset on planes often have one of the airline adapters attached to a standard 3.5mm jack, so you can usually score one on the plane if all else fails.
gerb trust me you wanna do the migearoverall coming next month I work at mi Malay Asia and they gave us a specimen and man does it deliver for the price 3000%
I think the biggest factor to this question is the "sound signature". The sound itself is better overall (althrough not by *that* much), but the sound signature is more to flat, which means that the sound signature sounds more like the original recording, rather than bass/treble boosted. If you're someone who loves bass boosted musics, this won't deliver that IF you don't use an equalizer. But if you're someone who value accuration (especially musicians), you'll find this headphone sounds wonderful. Either way, you can always ise an equalizer (like I do) to set the music to your personal taste. As in the "quality" itself, Mark did say that this is as good as any other flagship headphones sound.
Got my Bose 700 just yesterday and loving them already! The noise cancellation is just amazing, call quality is good too. The sound is also great - i do not know why so many people complained about Bass. I was confused earlier on the bass, but don’t see any issue with it after listening to music and taking call for two days. Trying to get used to the touchpad and understand how exactly the connection works though, sometimes its confusing. Another thing is they are so light that i can literally not feel anything on my head. I don’t regret my decision. Go for it!
On your bose 700, did you notice any stutter/crackling sound at random when connecting to two devices? I like it but I am not sure if mine is defective but lots of people reporting the same issue.
csryang Not the guy above, but I have had a pair of 700 eclipses since June. I have not noticed any disturbances when pairing devices. But I will turn them on and realize that I have noise canceling on and it sounds weird having them go from all noise to no noise once the mics kick in. That might be the issue.

04:45 They updated the app. It does now have EQ! 05:58 They are btw exactly the same weight (0,25 kg). The Sony's just *feel* lighter because of the plastic instead of cold metal finish on the Bose.
Interesting... the "smooth" adjustment is exactly what Apple went with... and people LOVE that... but when Bose did it in 2019 with smooth clean design... it's controversial.
Maybe it's brand "Apple" overrated brand make people okay with it Bose is good but also at same time underrated sound quality not amazing, other brand can surpass noise cancellation if bose dont make sound quality better

Agreed! We have tons of customers who love the Bose 700 UC. ANC is fantastic and the UC version works great when using the headset on a computer for Teams calls, Skype, various softphones, etc. and using it on a mobile phone.
I like the way that setting noise cancellation to zero actually pipes in your environment. It gives them much more the feel of 'open backed' headphones. Turning noise cancellation off (via the app) reveals what you're really listening to which is pretty decent closed-back headphones.

@Ezugo Obuekwe good headphones don't sound like AAC. My ANC Bluetooth headphones cost a quarter of the price and have AptX and they were released 3 years ago. The $100 Sony ones have APTXHD and these don't even have regular AptX.
@@500features best joke ever

The QC35 came with the airline adapter, but the QC35 II didn't (when I bought mine a year or two ago).
The free headset on planes often have one of the airline adapters attached to a standard 3.5mm jack, so you can usually score one on the plane if all else fails.
The updated bose does include an adjustable eq for these headphones now.

I work at mi Malay Asia and they gave us a specimen and man does it deliver for the price 3000%
