  • Hi everyone! A quick little jam on my new favorite 4-track using my Martin 000-15SM. I'm addicted to my Teenage Engineering OP1 Field.

If you release music on Apple Music or somewhere it could be purchased, I would 100% buy it. Your music is a masterclass of elegance, nostalgia, and passion. I absolutely love what you put out, please don’t ever stop! And if you release any music, please let us know, I would love the shit out of that!

Wow wow wow wow!! Thanks, dude!!! I’m sure I’ll release something eventually, but I’ve hit my stride with writing and found a new love in filming so I don’t know when, but I’ll definitely let everyone know when I do. I appreciate the kind words! 🙏🏼

I appreciate that, man. I write a different style of song at any given moment. Probably why I’m not on Spotify 🤷🏻‍♂️.

That's is surely the purpose of music if there is and the life amenities of getting to explore these sounds out of the 'box' in that tactile, pain in the ass way (believe hard paths to creativity are the most rewarding. Have almost the identical equipment as what I've seen in yours - all purchased in the last few months (a very fun learning curve ahead this year)..left behind 20 years of plugins for what you've clearly perfectly imperfected. You definitely have a new very solid new fan of what you're creating, and feel immediately very connected to all of it in that man I'm only 6 hours away it'd clearly be fun to play some shows, have some jams way.. you evoke that spirit - and quite grateful for discovering your stuff this morning. @@NovakTheEnjoyer

@@kulamafi I’m a firm believer in “hard paths being more rewarding”. You nailed it. It’s self discovery and affirmation with every single jam. That’s a tough place to exist for some people. It’s probably the most valued aspect of making music for me. There’s so much in the act of letting go.
I could never catch vibes with computers although I use them for music everyday. I get further along with the purest form of an idea though when I’m not concerned with capturing it. That’s why I love the field stuff so much. With practice, Its immediate and simple enough to not feel like a process.
Thanks so much for watching and listening!! Someone mentioned I should do a meet up or something. If this keeps going, I’ll make something happen for the relative “locals”.

My 18 month old son was just nodding his head, clapping, and rocking his body to this with a giant smile on his face. I think he enjoyed it very much, as did I! ❤

Yo! I’m glad you like it! I will release something at some point. Probably Bandcamp. If you want, you can go to Novaktheenjoyer.com and get on the mailing list. I don’t really send emails out, but I’ll announce any music I release there. Thanks for listening!

The guitar is mic'd. I'm surprised by how good the mic is on this thing. Everything else is sampled, or a preset on the OP1F.

Man, thank you so much! You definitely have me thinking of how I would go about making such a video. I love the idea of sharing whatever knowledge and experience I have.
Stay tuned, and thanks for subbing!

@@NovakTheEnjoyer will stay tuned, and looking forward to it. There are a lot of vids to be found on how to use the op-1, but none that go in to really arranging a whole song, and actually mixing and 'mastering' on the op-1 field. Its truly unique what you're doing and very cool if you'd be willing to share the knowledge somehow!

But what you do is awesome.
    Can you make more?
    And be less new...
Have tons of subscribers.... I'll be one of them to show them how it's done.
    Jokes appart...
Very nice vibes, keep it up! ❤
