I had an idea while listening to you talk. A cooking book with a qr code to the video of you making said recipe. It could have all of your doodles , quick notes, and even photos of your followers' dishes!. That way people who havent really seen your videos or forget which video was a certain recipe or just want to see you doing it before they actually do it , can have quick reference!
I really appreciate that reminder that the struggle to create something beautiful is real and contains suffering! Some artists say that a pet-peeve they have is when someone says, "You are so lucky and blessed to be so talented!" because it (usually accidentally) disregards the hours/days/years of struggles, fails, mistakes, and practice to gradually get better. I am so excited to see you pursuing a passion project and sharing the process of making that project with the community. I am an art teacher and I've been having to film EVERYTHING for class demonstrations (due to virtual teaching) and it's been the best thing. The kids get to learn different ways of doing things, they get to see me mess up and then learn how to move on or work with a mistake. It's helped humanize me more in their eyes, and shows them that we're all constantly growing together. I've also noticed a willingness for students to ask more questions and be more open and try new things because they see me trying along with them, I have to adhere to the same deadlines as they do, and they understand that it is okay to fail at a skill sometimes, because those failures teach us vastly more than our successes do. So thank you so so much to bringing this quality of teaching to us here on RUclips through your Cookbook Creation Project. Your series will help people understand that they can pursue their own creativity and hopefully will help to teach people to stop comparing their own creative work to others and to just embrace the process and not the end product. I can't wait to see how your process goes and to cheer you on through it all! :D

I would also Love the Just Martina New era channel. No disrespect to Simon or anything. I feel as they are going separate way this channel should just be left for past content and slowly they could start posting on their new separate channels and forwarding people there , because financially it would be hard to just drop the place and than no one would see the new channels, I think a way of implementing this would be if they create new content to post "shorts" like on the bonus channel here and link the full video on the new channel _ use the community tabs to redirect people to the new channel. So She could eventually build back the follower number there and have fully independent channels in the futur. All this is they own choices , But I saw on Instagram Simon talking about a project he is working ok ( obviously we have no idea what it is ) I just think people interested into Martina or Simon and not both will penalize both of them in the long run if they are both posting totally different subject on the same channel. If Simon fully stop RUclips as he sounded to be saying, then Martina could just fully take over the channel and Rename it. Hi Martina :) I just saw your podcast on Negative Pressure Productions and it was awesome! It got me wondering, has managing your pain gotten any easier since returning to Canada? Or was Japan’s physiotherapy just as good? (I know finding doctors who know about EDS is tricky)
👩🏻🦳 oh so glad you liked it! They were so lovely and easy to talk to, we chatted like an hour extra 😂 after having a few bad experiences, I just found a physiotherapist last week that I really love. So that’s hopeful. And since I am under a less intense work and editing schedule, I’ve been feeling better pain wise. Also, medical marijuana has been helpful, which is interesting because I never touched it growing up as a teenager or in university. I was pretty against it, especially using it when your brain is young and still developing, but now as an adult I’m using it but responsibly.

Martina, this is such a great idea and is reinvigorating me in the middle of my own cookbook project.
I loved every second of this video. I've been having a rough couple of days and you just reminded me to keep building my ladder! I think your series will inspire me to push through more of my creative projects! Like you said, it's so easy to get discouraged by comparing our own work in progress to a polished project, so I really appreciate you giving this community a chance to see your version of the creative process!

Hi Martina :) I just saw your podcast on Negative Pressure Productions and it was awesome! It got me wondering, has managing your pain gotten any easier since returning to Canada? Or was Japan’s physiotherapy just as good? (I know finding doctors who know about EDS is tricky)
👩🏻🦳 oh so glad you liked it! They were so lovely and easy to talk to, we chatted like an hour extra 😂 after having a few bad experiences, I just found a physiotherapist last week that I really love. So that’s hopeful. And since I am under a less intense work and editing schedule, I’ve been feeling better pain wise. Also, medical marijuana has been helpful, which is interesting because I never touched it growing up as a teenager or in university. I was pretty against it, especially using it when your brain is young and still developing, but now as an adult I’m using it but responsibly.
