I cant believe this album didn't do better sales. The song writing was so sincere, some of their best imo. Someone in charge of promotion must have dropped the ball on this one. Or it could be that 90% of people prefer songs that sound like everything else on the radio.

there are certain things about his recording process that sets unreasonable vocal expectations that he literally can't do live. but other than that his voice is great.

In my opinion this song is the greatest song ever written. Ever! It is an incredible song with deep and personal lyrics, It's a tragically sad song but it's beauty is undeniable, i love this band and especially this song

I've always thought that his talking voice was very similar to his singing voice (sounds dumb, I know, but it's not incredibly common) and it works out perfect for him and the entire sound of the band
Arion Salazar and Tony Fredianelli singing backup helped save Stephen Jenkins this song. Brad Hargreaves solid as usual, ended up sounding pretty good for 3EB live.
I think there's actually a substantial difference in their sound from each album. Maybe it's because I've listened to all of their albums all the way through at least 6 times each, but I think they're all very different. All amazing, but Ursa Major is way different than their self titled.

Why does everyone always say that he can't sing live? I've seen him several times and never felt that way. He's been on point at every show.
