Cat 100% best familiar. Tried every one of them and its 100% obvious.
The main problem with dragon, maggot and crocodile - they miss in 80% of cases. Just attack random point.
Try making cat with +20% block chance and stun immunity skill. Thats the best both for pvp and pve
Have you ever actually used the duskprowler in PvP? I have and it's not that good, the shield is virtually useless. Your comment reads exactly how my mindset was at first also, that of course the cat would be perfect for PvP - but it turns out that it's far better for high-end PvE content such as CR pushing and the highest helliquary bosses as MHC said.
I sold a pretty good cat because it was literally doing nothing in pve and the shield it’s hilarious in pvp. The aoe damage the dragon and the basic pet has it’s really good. Cat is for tier C or B at best and I’m saying that so you can keep buying them for high price 😅

I agree Brood is hands down the best pet so far since release. I had a good one but lost it in conversion, now I'm stuck with an ordinary yellow cat with ok passives that doesn't matter, cuz cat doesn't trigger them.
The Skitter i hear is also really good, but I never thought he'd be placed beside Brood.
I'm also a little shocked that the flying ghost isnt considered slightly better and put into A tier.
As for the cat, its good in pvp as mentioned. It also helps in pve for squishy classes like wizards. But squishy classes usually melt pve stuff anyway, so they'd likely prefer raw damage. Also, two-headed cat is ugly af, and just flat out gross. Dunno how tf people find it cute.
The other pets shouldn't even be considered imho. They likely won't see any use case unless they were converted that way, and/or the user has no conversion stones.
To those cat people raging about cat not being S tier, y'all need a reality check. You should only get mad about stuff you can change, not the ones you have zero control over. Someone's opinion belongs solely to themself, so you have zero control over it. Don't get mad, just move on if ya don't like it.

I've heard that cats are considered one of the best familiars in the game. When I play Inferno V or IV, I rarely see anyone who doesn't have a cat. Even when I search for the best familiar on Google and go to the images, it's full of those cats.
Ash sweeper beings a lot lot higher…. You complete disregard its 20% damage reduction which is crucial in pvp battles and melts in pve!
I have with legendary savior and tenacity and some nice gold passive skills that has made my kills in pvp nearly double.
Totally agree with you man, ppl just mad cause kitty looks the best (debatable) lol, successfully got a legendary skitterwight through conversation completely FTP the other day, the dot is awesome especially for single target damage.

Dusk is 100% S Tier, because if you have one with Savior and it 60 sec cd like mine (199 Resilience), it's just OP. Just saying from testing, it's only an opinion.
The fact that the duskprowler is reliant on needing savior keeps it out of S tier, the shield by itself is weak. But then again having savior on anything makes it instantly an A if not S tier, even the ashsweeper.
So all I would say is that cc is king in pvp which is why in my opinion the Stormlost is the best from a pvp stand point. Definitely should be up there with Broodtalon and Skitter. The thing you didn't touch on is that those do DOT ground damage so they proc things like Banguet of Eyes which is why they are so good. Ultimately though the 2 best familiars are Stormlost and Broodtalon just cus Skitter reads kind of differenly and is more open to interpretation. But I still think Stormlost takes number 1 cus like I said cc is king. Anything that gives you more cc is the best. But Broodtalon does do the best damage for sure.

Shilds give you anti crit dmg - some skills with double use and increase block chance while use skill is insane with savior SSS TIER
But I prefer Varog got one Lego with savior and immun to knockback

How about you content creators in the partnership program aak the devs what's the point of ROE when the Immortal can use the Champion Paragon Tree and is Invincible. Hence guaranteeing Immortals a 7 week reign.
Why not instead at the end of a reign have the top 10 clans in an Clan v Clan battle to determine the next Immortals.

@@henrytoler5023 for sure, it’s also tough with the game being developed by Net Ease but communication coming from Blizzard. Leaves a lot of opportunities for miscommunication and misunderstanding. I do plan on posting a video about this topic this week to help bring attention to it.

The cat isn't great though. I use the cat simply because it's the best pet I currently have. But do you know what the passive skills are?
There are passive skills that give shields, lifesteal, hp regeneration, and even reset player skill cooldowns. The cat DOES NOT trigger those passive skills...at least not reliably. The passive skills can only be triggered by the active skill dealing damage, yet the cat only deals damage in a small radius when the shield breaks, and does not work as explained/intended.
So why the agro?
Instead of acting belligerent and trying to slam dunk the guy's content, maybe check facts first or at least hear his and everyone else's reason why the cat isn't that great.

The cat is not great. Damage added to shielded enemies makes shields useless except for your enemy. I am always running damage to shielded enemies 😂😂😂😂 so please please please use that kitty cat.
