Love the 1500 U mention fuel consumption comparison 1500 5.7 to the LC diesel but What I would really like to know is average consumption after U fitted the supacharger ????
Patriot campers you guys are honestly the best people I have watched in my entire life no Hope I can see you in the future and to everyone that is really nice good luck in the massive giveaway like if you agree
Justin thank you!!!!! I love my RAM1500 petrol. I have it heavily modified (yes I use your rims :) ) and tow an off-road ZoneRV 3.5t caravan. It has been awesome and the petrol availability and fuel economy narratives just get silly from non believers. I have done many hard core corrugated roads and other off-road driving and it has been great so far.
The only video made here that tells you basically all about the factory RAM 1500 and the option you can add to it. I would love to own one and especially try it on one of yours touring trips as long as you are at the front. Keep up a good work you are legend.
I almost bailed on watching after the extended intro/backstory of the build, but the actual info was good without bs. Interesting thoughts on diesel vs. gas especially given the emission complexity today.
Very balanced and informative explanation of everything done. With no unnecessary brand plugging. Just facts based on user experience. I would love a Ram but with the tray it just wouldn't fit in the garage sadly. Great video look forward to more. Well done.
I'm watching the Ram 1500 and waiting to see the DT version, definately love the supercharger addition. like the Patriot Garage edition to the show. What's the plan on the 'ol 47- hope to see the project start soon
Your comment about finding petrol is interesting. Here in Canada, the reverse is true as 98% of cars and light trucks are petrol. I have a ‘17 Chev Colorado with a 2.8 diesel with a tune and 125,000 km with zero issues. 75 mm suspension lift, ARB front with Warn winch, rear steel bumper, TJM Boulia roof top tent, rear fuel/tire carrier. 7.7 L/100 km on the tarmac and pulls my Toyota trail truck on a trailer just fine. Up 8% grades. Total GVW is 5775 kg. You need to come to British Columbia, then Alaska on one of your tours! Not as hard core as Mongolia, but check out the Mackenzie Trail in BC. Cheers!
Are you going to be getting back into building the 2500 Supertourers when the DT models are available in OZ? Or concentrating just on campers now with affiliates doing the builds in all states?
When you talk about diesel vs petrol availability what some people forget is people use bikes in remote areas which are petrol hence why you can find it
I have a wife, a 17 year old kid and a 90lbs dog. I am looking to get a pickup truck sometime next year 2020. I have watched your videos to try to see which would fit our needs best. The trouble is most all reviews focus on towing. My situation is a little different. My primary purpose is to haul the family and commute to work daily ( about 60/40 city/freeway) nothing extreme, and only about 50 miles a day round trip). The truck aspect is for the occasional trash haul, or helping someone move, or getting plywood at Home Depot for some project. With all that being said, I want the most comfortable room, best fuel economy, reliability, safety and price. What is your recommendation? Thank you
Hopefully you see this as it’s an old vid. But what width is that canopy. I’m looking at getting a Ram but I would like to reuse my 1800 wide canopy. I know the tray is 2000 wide just thinking on the looks.. 👍🏻
When you fitted the Supercharger , did you deactivate the Hemi fuel saving feature ( 8cyl to 4cyl) and if not how has that been so far? Awesome machine!
Gday this is my favourite truck you have built this far. Glad to hear it gets used as a daily driver and as a tow rig- just how they were intended. Would you consider doing a Silverado 1500 with the 6.2lt? Great series, looking forward to next vid. Cheers
thank you great detail show detail video love king Isuzu 300 4x4 with 5.2 turbo 6ton crew cab know 20lt very 100km if got money do the things yes be great do that yes great setup on RAM truck did there in the video
33's are the standard size tire here in the US for the 4x4 Ram 1500's so no need to regear since 33's are what he is running. One of the down sides to the Ram is you cant regear the front end. If you need taller gears then you have to replace the entire front center with one from a higher gear Ram and even then i think the tallest gear you can get are 3.73's.
Just bought a Ram Warlock and really want that PCOR Bullbar Dude, its the only one I have seen that follows that rams lines... Any chance of getting one ? by the way awesome build on that Ram 1500.
Great video mate. Finally someone with some sense when it comes to the diesel vs petrol argument. Like you say if we were having this discussion 20 years ago it’d be diesel every day but times change.
This is a very good truck. But to buy a full-size pickup truck in Australia you need to pay nearly twice the price in the US. Is it really worth it? I really like Ford F150, Ram 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado. But I am not sure if I am willing to pay twice the original price.
They are not that small, I have a 2017 ram 1500 4 door crew cab 4x4 with a 5 lift on 37’s and my friend has a 2018 2500 4 door crew cab 4x4 stock suspension with 35’s and my truck is a lot bigger looking, both are 6’4” beds, 5.7 hemi but I have a ranch hand grill guard and he does not.
Love all of your videos When are you going to post the next episode You should go and do some mountain biking. It is so fun and it will keep you fit Have you ever thought about getting a f-truck
This is awesome, Give the guy who thought of this series a pay rise!!!
Not a huge fan of ram trucks but that rig is just about enough to change my mind. It’s so well set up.
Costs a fortune for this kinda setup
@@mohammedmuzakkir9803 it would but look what you pay for a 79 series only to throw half of it in the bin.
Samezy
Love the build. Another awesome Patriot rundown as always. Kudos Justin and the team!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching 🙌
I really enjoyed that thank you Justin, I'm looking forward to your next Build walk through.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
I fell in love with the 6×6

I know you only buy FCA RAMS however you should try and get your hands on a RAM TRX for Sarah and put her up against the trophy truck.

Great information, loving the RAM
Im in the states and I love the looks of your truck
Thanks Shaun!
gotta love the RAM

Patriot Garage 👍🏼 Sarah’s RAM 👌🏼
🙌
I would have bought this only for the bullbar .. love love love that bullbar 🙌🙌🙌
Awesome vid, one question, what's the fuel economy with the Harrop on as a daily and as a tourer?
A lot of good info. 👍
Awesome job Justin, Love that truck!
Cheers legends!!!
Thanks 👍
I would love to see the pcor bull bar brought into production. For two reasons
1) It’s pcor
2) it’s bloody awesome
🙌
Are you guys offering this option as a build people can purchase ?? Unbelievably balanced rig love the channel 🙌🏽❤️
Roughly how much would it cost to set up a RAM 1500 like that compared to a chopped 200?
So whats the fuel consumption with the super charger??
Burren Junction NSW. Said on the map there was a servo, was a diesel only container. 😬
lol this is 100 percent true
Interesting to here how it going as a daily driver. And I have seen Sarah driving around the GC.
Great new series concept.
Thanks Chris!

Thank you for the interesting take on the whole diesel V petrol debate.
Don't apologize for being techy, I have no problem with it and it is a.nice distraction from what you usually do. Keep it. up!!
Thanks Phillip!
When you talk about diesel vs petrol availability what some people forget is people use bikes in remote areas which are petrol hence why you can find it
Top Video as always. You need to consider the new Ram 1500 TRX. (If available in AUS)
Thanks mate! We will check it out!
Good stuff !!!

Hi I'm mark from the uk I love all or video 👍
Would be awesome to see a 6x6 ram
That would be epic!
Brilliant stuff, hope the UK will become a dealer for you 👍
Top video tiger 🐅
Great video, only thing if that was a little annoying was the cuts to prior videos. There was lots of them and we didn’t see Sarah again!
Agreed
Yo justin love the vids i live on the sunny coast and i rlly want to meet u one day
Great talk. Would be good to know the cost breakdown.

@@PatriotGames would this be for sale if you get the new DT?
What is the new 1500 you where touring about
Good video bloke cheers
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
In North America the shorter 4 door cabs are known as Quad Cabs and the longer versions like the 2500 are known as Crew Cabs.
And we also have the mega cab versions for even more space.
Hemi or Ecodiesel? Is the Eco an option in Australia?
A great insight into another make besides Toyota. Really enjoyable and look forward to more . Steve 🇦🇺
Thanks 👍
Hi guys hope u have a great trip in wa the more river mansion is great 👍 u should make a video there it’s so beautiful

Running bigger tires, do you guys ever change the gear ratios? I don't remember you ever talking about that. Thanks, Jason.

WoW!!

Any chance of getting one ? by the way awesome build on that Ram 1500.
What about fuel consumption petrol vs diesel with a full load of people, gear, plus a loaded trailer?
@@Reaper_787 what vehicle?
I wanted to be the 484th person to like this but I'm here early, Wicked run through mate !
🙌
Have you heard anything about the when they are going to bring out the dt?
In Sweden there is places you only can buy diesel, its only for trucks.
Plenty of diesel only container 24hr self serves in western nsw qld
You guys need to make a video on how to persuade spouse that they NEED PCOR RAM1500 not anything less.
😂 We will see what we can do!
Haven’t seen a servo with only diesel but. Know of plenty of servos with only petrol available
Don’t these struggle for gvm? Especially with ball weight ? Have you upgraded?
Great video mate. Finally someone with some sense when it comes to the diesel vs petrol argument. Like you say if we were having this discussion 20 years ago it’d be diesel every day but times change.

What are the dimensions of the tray? Can't seem to find the info anywhere. Cheers
Hey mate, the PCOR RAM 1500 tray is 2005mm (W) x 1900mm (L). Let us know if you want anymore information.
Can you make a tray for the f250 in the us please!!!!!
Possibly one day!
hi love u guys
What type of roof rack is on the truck?
Do you know of anyone ever stick fuel in the water fill hole, or vice versa?
Is this the same rig that the lmct plus guys are giving away tomorrow?
Skip to 33:39 to get to the good stuff
You guys should build an amarok V6
Rumer has it that australia is going to get trx like to see what you guys would do with it
Love the both of you and Sarah you look absolutely beautiful 😇
Love this vid and all the other vid keep it up

I have to ask, what would a starting price for a ram like this cost? I would be shipping it out to Kenya.
About 5 million gazelle hoofs
Take me to work for you))
Love all of your videos
When are you going to post the next episode
You should go and do some mountain biking. It is so fun and it will keep you fit
Have you ever thought about getting a f-truck
