The "De-confliction Line" was to keep lines of communication between Russian and U.S. Forces to avoid them coming into conflict with each other and accidentally starting WW3. The Wagner Group (Russians) decided not to honor that agreement and cross the Euphrates River to gain control of an Oil Field. They had previously agreed to stay on their side of the river to avoid this very type of incident. The enemy was ISIS whom both sides were fighting.

The short buzzing sounds from the gatling gun of the C-130. It can fire 1800 rounds per minute. Every 10th round is a tracer round. When you see it in action it looks like a bright tube reaching from the plane to the ground. The targets below cannot withstand it and is destroyed quiclky.

A large portion of the military budget goes directly back to the taxpayers by providing tens of thousands of jobs building and maintaining military equipment and cities and towns that host military bases get a large economic boost even the fuel used by all the equipment comes from the United States the Air Force Base near me employs about a thousand civilians who maintain and overhaul aircraft

You know the USA is serious AF about our air power when you realize that our navy (USN) has its own army (USMC) whose air force (USMCA) is the 5th largest air force in the world (1300+ aircraft), even when counting our own main air force (USAF with 5500+ aircraft) and our navy's air force (fully integrated with ~3000 aircraft) on that list.

Just think about this for a little bit. During the Soviet Union days the USSR and USA were constantly producing arms and armaments. The USSR was a formidable force, however they constantly lied about the equipment they had, usually overstating the capability and quantity. For the most part the US knew it was nonsense but just to be safe they made sure they had the kit to combat them if for some very odd reason there were a few guys telling the truth. The US invested heavily in technology and kept advancing their technology and upgrading their kit. Not to get into a competitive environment of capitalism vs the stagnation of socialism where covering your butt to keep your position is a priority, but I feel mentioning it won't hurt.
The US military has a saying, FAFO, that is mess around and find out.......
