@@Nobody12385 Yes by rerolling the world you are in it will cost you to restart your progress(story-wise) without losing any of your items or character progression
The cutscene cutting out when you take the second option is super annoying! The same thing happened to me on my first run, thought I had accidentally skipped something but that appears not to be the case.
It cuts out because in that second everything is destroyed by the black hole. That is also why you get sent back to Ward 13 and are unable to travel back to N'Erud (it looks glitchy on your map screen), it doesn't exist.
Yeah it's not a glitch. The place is just INSTANTLY destroyed because It's no longer protected from a supermassive black hole. You only 'survive' cause whenever you die you get spit out of the nearest available crystal, which in the case of Nerud no longer existing, is Ward 13.
The robot guy says "What have you done?" and it cuts out, I tought there was something wrong with my game, but as the guys above said, Nerud is instantly destroyed by a black hole so it makes sense to cut it out so suddenly
I didn't know there was an option to use the terminal and shut down the core because all the blue terminals aren't meant to be used, only the yellow ones.
Didn't even notice there were 2 options - the delay in interactions with objects could be considered an issue with R2 or a design choice to encourage searching (?) The former imo as even checkpoints and elevator control panels don't register automatically when approaching or even next / stood in front of them, I always have to reposition my character for the prompt to appear. Aside from that and a lack of armour designs especially on a single playthrough. It seems like there's only 2 practical options unless you don't mind a less optimum build & even then a full set will encumber (inc the backpack not matching the armour designs, kind of bugs me :) ) My only non mechanics related criticism of this excellent game.
The boss weapon crafting parts? Oh man that would bug me knowing I'd missed a weapon and swapped it for something less "fun". If that is what you meant. If not would you mind explaining what the eye gives in return for a shard (what do you mean by shard also, the boss reward item?) It does sound like a viable gameplay choice, similar to giving the web items such as the carved dolls in return for relic fragments at the Asylum.
I accidentally destroyed the core. I really wanted to shut it down but i didnt noticed the console. Now im just mad at myself for it and really want to reroll my campaign.... T.T
@@Zim2334 I think they are mutually exclusive events. You can use the override pin and destroy it, getting you the long gun, OR you can do that 24 hour thing, getting you the sword and then the heart which allows you to unlock the hidden archetype by following more steps. In order to do both options, you would need to complete this N'rud questline 2 separate times and pick one option in one of them, then the other in another run.
there's certain ones you HAVE to reroll and certain ones you can't. For instance. To get the laser sniper rifle thingy you have to get a helmet from an overworld zone and use it to scan your head while you're wearing it in a crashed spaceship at another overwolrd zone... the catch? The two overworld zones don't ever both exist in a playthrough. OTHER side quests involve using 'quest items' that DO vanish if you reset the world. Typically your best bet to guess if a sidquest is completable in a re-roll or not is if the items involved are permanent items or quest items.
I had no idea that you needed to do nothing, log out for a day, then go back in to get the void heart (req for archon) Then go back in, destroy the core and advance. (if i'm getting that right) Am I able to do this via Adventure mode now that I can no longer access this world? Thanks!
Hey gamerpiller Dude can’t say enough how Rad you are i appreciate your content so much. Thanks, dude! I was confused about the options, now Im on the journey for the Archon archetype :)
This is the first area I started in, seems to be a later game thing 😅😂
Is there any way to get past it if you just suck and can't kill him asking for a friend

You can start any one will base in your power lvl not a world set difficulty

For me, after 24 hours (even 5 days after this boss) the new area doesn’t open.
I thought you were supposed to bring those shards back to the eye in the labyrinth. Thats what ive been doing lol

you can start the adventure mode starting in this map. i destroyed the core too accidentally and now im siding with the npcs
you could've used a backup save file to reset your save to before the decision, just did that and I'm glad it worked lmao
I didnt know you could shut down, what do you do with the void heart? Is it imp ?
Mine still has a question mark by it I don't know what to do
Look up Archon archetype or backrooms in remnant 2. No I'm not joking
Yeah Achron is sweet
How tf did you do the override pin after alepsis taura?
If i do the alt kill and get the weapon do i still get the option to wait 24 hrs for the void heart ?
No you don’t, the whole world of N’Erud will be fully corrupted and you can’t revisit it.
If you destroy the core for the weapon you get locked out of the area till you re roll
So I can get both if I follow the order of the video? Kill for shard then adv mode to kill for weapon?

24h no problem ... PC set one day +
is there anyway to complete side quests when you re roll ?

This video isn't about the boss fight. It's about the choices and the rewards for those choices, obviously.
