Which house would you pick?
#1
House no 3
One
House #2, the 1st house was just a cluster and way to dated.
I would've chosen house number 3.. way more bang for your buck. And the master bedroom was to die for!
I loved house #3!! More budget friendly and far more elegant than the rest!
She almost laughed when she said her budget was 25 to 40 million. The reason they never show them once they move in because they were never really buying it. These shows all have actors but I still love seeing the houses.
Usually the “buyers” have already purchased one of the shown houses
I thought the same thing...I actually didn't like any of the houses. I really don't think any of those houses suited them🤔
So why did she go on it?? So desperate?? Dunno which is worse, the production companies or the idiots who sign up to be part of a fraud just for 5 minutes of "fame"
So they lie to get ratings
@@finebetty7446they are getting paid, genius. Why else would
Me and my wife gonna go to VillagePark tomorrow to pick out our Dream Double Wide
I'm going to pick up my dream tiny home/ADU
Nothing wrong with that… Congratulations.😀
@souledout3791 we ended up getting a 4 bedroom 2 bath a living room and a family room ...we're excited
I would call these houses because there's nothing homie about them not warm or cozy, They give more of an office or museum vibe.
House #1 needed updating. If I was spending that much, I wouldn’t want to have to renovate.
I grew up, and still live in this area. This isn’t New York City, you won’t see suits on any of the millionaires around here, it’s very casual. We have family friends who owned a gas station in Laguna Beach, along with several other businesses. When the husband retired he was bored so he started bagging groceries at the local supermarket. We laugh that no one was aware of the fact that the man bagging their groceries was worth millions.
Thanks for the context, Tanya. And 'Go Lakers!'
Keeping busy, and simple jobs, are the simple pure pleasures of life.
When you consider all the homeless people living on the streets all over America, the fact that this spoiled woman can spend up to $40 million to buy a home speaks volumes about what’s wrong with America.
And she has a charity go figure
This show is so fake. I don't believe any of these people are actually buyers.
@@DianneBlack-n3n yeah, she is the beneficiary of her charity. I love the dress she made out of a tablecloth.
What should she do? Give it to you?
No, she should give it to people who need it. Change the laws, pay her staff more.
Lifestyles of the rich and tasteless is what this show is
Mama looks like she’s wearing a table cloth fit for a picnic table. Ugh.
The richer the more tasteless. More is most definitely not more. It's just show off. I live in a small terraced house in England. It is enough for me. It's homely and cosy. I would NOT want to live in those soulless houses.
Both of you are jealous
@ unlike you, some of us were blessed with common sense, good judgment, a distaste for conspicuous consumption, and a burning desire to help the less fortunate. You have revealed your true self, and it’s not a pretty picture.
@@janefarmer7162 I am not jealous. I am content. It's a wonderful thing to be. ♥
"Budget is from 2 bucks to 900 Millions, 2 bedrooms 20 bathrooms, on the sea but ocean view, thank you" 😂
I feel sometimes that potential buyers are paid actors.
You are right. The daughter is an insta blogger. The mother (who is not her mother) appeared in cheesy hallmark films as an extra and only an extra. She is a broke "actress" looking for anything she can get.
They are. They are sooo uptight . And also some answers of the "daughter"
If I was in their place I would have definitely chosen house no 3
House one was a dump. Not worth a million let alone 35 million.
House two was the nicest and was a million dollar home.
House three was a strange design.
For someone buying a million dollar home the lady looked like she went shopping at Goodwill and had her hair done at supercut.
It’s probbaly worth $5million at best.
😂 I agree about the buyer, she's no more a multi millionaire than me!!!
House 1 - very unappealing‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
The ocean was the great feature!
I would’ve picked house #3. I cannot fathom having that kind of budget. The bottom end was 25mill & you find the biggest one on the largest plot of land, still with ocean views, but you might have to drive 10mins🙄 a million above your bottom dollar and likely could’ve come in lower. I guess she probably has at least 100mill anyway, so whatevs.
Just over here trying to keep up with my bills as a single mom😭
I would hope they're worth a few hundred million with that budget. And this is a second home.
It’s sound like the hubby died and these fools are just ready to live life!!!
I loved #2 as well even though more expensive. Definitely my style.
25-40 million is a very odd budget. I’m starting to believe people when they say these shows are fake.
What’s so odd about it?
The daughter is an insta blogger. The mother (who is not her mother) appeared in cheesy hallmark films as an extra and only an extra. She is a broke "actress" looking for anything she can get. They are both paid actresses.
Hey I saw my art - hope the buyer keeps it 💯
Not really impressed with any of the homes. Way to big and cold feeling.
I agree
It’s depends on how it’s decorated. These home were decorated poorly or the owner have bad taste
Not everyone wants a 2,000 sqft home or likes how you decorate that’s why there’s multiple home decor styles and not just beige.
My thoughts too. They are not homes but show pieces exceptionally overpriced. 10 bathrooms, really.
@ Put it this way when people win the lottery the advisors at a wealth management firm will tell you to move around people who are now in your tax bracket. I get that money won’t change the holder all the time but it is the people around you that will change. This lady obviously has a lot of money so is she supposed to move into a neighborhood that people are living paycheck to paycheck on? That is a sure fire way of setting yourself up to be a victim of a crime. People will rationalize it as she has enough money to replace it so it’s fine. So to live in a premium location in California $1 million is going to buy you a piece of land. You may think it’s a waste of money because you never had that much money to spend on anything.
A lovely mother and daughter ,beautiful homes too 😊
Using the word budget in the same sentence as 40 million is ludicrous, I wish I could be more generous regarding her daughter but she doesn’t seem authentic to me.
Even if I had that money I still wouldn’t spend 35 million on a house.
We love our dad, but we love the gigantic pile of money he left us, more. Ugh!
The daughter is an insta blogger. The mother (who is not her mother) appeared in cheesy hallmark films as an extra and only an extra. She is a broke "actress" looking for anything she can get. They are both paid actresses.
Just because someone has the money to buy a home like that doesn't mean they need to.
The rich in California are indeed different. I do not understand why a house selling for $35 million or higher does not have staff quarters. Wouldn't you have a live-in housekeeper, live-in personal chef, a live-in body guard/chauffer and a live-in personal assistant to manage your appointments, formal invitations and make restaurant reservations? And wouldn't you have an industrial style kitchen tucked away somewhere near the dining room and terrace where your personal chef or a catering crew could make meals or party hors d'oeuvres? Instead of a luxury show kitchen that is rarely used by the home owner?
I really doubt anyone rich enough to buy the last two houses is cooking his or her own meals and washing up afterwards. Maybe someone from a modest income background who married a sports star or wealthy entertainer might like these kitchens, but they are not really designed for a professional chef or a catering crew. And I doubt anyone from generations of wealth, who is themselves wealthy, cooks their own meals.
If I was rich, I would want a home that had a safe room, a personal gym + contract with a trainer who does house calls, a massage room + contract with a masseuse who does house calls, and for the lady of the house a mini hairdressing salon + contracts with a hairdresser, manicurist and make-up artist who do house calls. Would probably want a helipad too for quick trips to city center when the highways are congested.
Our friends have very large and old estates in Newport RI and CT. It's actually not tasteful to have a large fancy kitchen. The kitchens in those houses are modest back rooms used by the live in staff. Granted today people are much different.
House 2 is so cool
The property they "bought" per this video is not correct. Most recent price was $37M and then pulled off the market - they didn't go through with the deal...
The daughter is an insta blogger. The mother (who is not her mother) appeared in cheesy hallmark films as an extra and only an extra. She is a broke "actress" looking for anything she can get. They are both paid actresses.
What are her charities she mentioned? Greenwich CT, her hubby was probably a hedge fund manager.
That's what I thought with Greenwich and that kind of money only comes from people in finance or heirs to companies. However, I did some digging....The daughter is an insta blogger. The mother (who is not her mother) appeared in cheesy hallmark films as an extra and only an extra. She is a broke "actress" looking for anything she can get. They are both paid actresses.
Would rather buy a home in Big Sur/Carmel.......Love Laguna but traffic is God awful in summer.
All i need is her $250.000 to build a school that could transform 1200 childrens lives .
Why would two people need a 5 bedroom house and 8 bathrooms for? 😢😮
Ya right😅
A different loo to poop in everyday of the week, and twice on Sundays
Up to $40 million budget? Wow. I’m so poor 😢
Lord. 25-40 mill. Wtf did the husband do for a living? Lord I live in Northern California..and i can only dream of owning
They chose right. The second home was the dopest IMHO. For some reason the 3rd house was my least favorite. It felt cold and un welcoming. It's one thing to be private but If I was rich and dropped that type of money I just didn't see the Wow factor for what I was getting. True be told, I'd just be happy to have a 2 bedroom condo in southern Cali, not too far from the beach. I'm not sure if I could get that for under 1M.
$ 850000 in “southern” CA would be 45 min drive/east from the beach/coast.
Love all 3 . But number 3 for me . Cost efective . But number 3 also scares me . Too much greenery around . Them damn wild fires .
Sickening what some people spend on material things just to feel like they are something / important.
I would have chosen house 3, because you also get land and it was a better value overall. However, I understand they wanted to live next to the water. Happy for them.
I don’t like any of these homes. It isn’t only buying them but maintaining the,
I loved house 2
House #3 is much less because it is outside of Laguna and is not beachfront. So to compensate you have more land and not oceanfront. The kitchen is very outdated with the thick columns - needs a redo.
Spent my younger years living in Laguna. It was not the elaborate wealth that it is today. My parent’s biggest regret was selling their homes and investment properties. I am gobsmacked how much money people have in this world. I missed the wealth boat. I would purchase the first one so the adult children and families could have their own space. If Laguna allows AirBNB you can rent them out when not in use to offset the cost. These homes are outdated. However, as I continue to watch the video these people don’t need to offset costs 😂😂😂 like normal people. House two is amazing. I wonder which community it is located in?
I thought they would’ve picked house number three 😮
This is how the show always ends?
No info on the offer and if it went thru and at what price?
This show is faked.
None of these homes are probably still standing.
Thanks for the concern. Laguna Beach is quite far south of the fires, so these homes would not have been affected.
They look so awkward, do not really exude wealth. Actors maybe?
Some people's with real money just doesn't show off like BROKE people get it.
😂❤@@VICKVICKI
Yes they are all actors on all of these shows.. good eye.
This show and the actors arw always a huge giveaway they never seem like they are real millionaires.
They seem humble
100% actors
Ha ha ha. The daughter wants a big backyard. Sweetie - this is not CT. There is no such thing as a big yard with a beach front home.
When the realtor looks like she has more money in the bank than the clients. Very dolled-up appearance.
NOTHING LIKE THE OC AS YOU CAN SEE ITS THE BEST PLACE TO BE..
THE REALTOR IS BEAUTIFUL BUT TOO PERFECT, FEELS UNREAL
I find all this sickly sweet and very fake.
The daughter is an insta blogger. The mother (who is not her mother) appeared in cheesy hallmark films as an extra and only an extra. She is a broke "actress" looking for anything she can get. They are both paid actresses.
Loved loved loved house #2. #3 was very nice but they wanted the beach….understandable.
She should spend some of that $40 million on a hairdresser and a fashion consultant. 🤣
That look wasn't even "in" in the 80s. And it definitely isn't a Greenwich, Connecticut old money look.
This show is so fake. These aren't ever real buyers.
The daughter is an insta blogger. The mother (who is not her mother) appeared in cheesy hallmark films as an extra and only an extra. She is a broke "actress" looking for anything she can get. They are both paid actresses. IF she was a good actress then she would know how to dress as old CT money LOL
House # is runned down, watch the stains on the wooden terrasse, moreover the house is really squeezed in between two other lots, the lot is not worth it at all.
Why do you need 5 bedrooms + 8 bathrooms for 2 adults 🙄🙄🙄
For that price these are ugly 😭
Surprised I thought they would've pick 3 since it was bigger
Yes, way bigger - but we noticed from the aerial shots that it was more inland - and not right off the beach like the other two (which was probably why it was $15M (!) cheaper than #2). Since the clients first said they wanted beach - we're betting that's what swayed them...
My dream house! so beautyful
SO WONDERFUL I DONT WANT ANYMOF THESE HIME,, IF I HAD. 25 million I wouldn’t buy one of these, too big, too cold too over the top.
She bought that home for her daughter to have huge after parties !!!! That home will be a wreck within a year !! Sad because we know the lady wanted house #3 real bad but spoiled daughter gets what she wants. Hated it !!
Who requires 8 baths? Please justify this for me...
Not everyone wants a million $$ home. If I was rich 🤑 or had that big win , I wouldn’t bother to get me anything expensive. N not to big either. Wouldn’t spend more than $300,000 in a nice comfortable home.
our budget is 40mm? how about donating 40 hours to the homeless
First one has ugly stonework and dated kitchen. BUT, the best beach. Number 2 is the best house... Not clear about the beach access. Number 3 not close enough to the water.
California's GDP in 2024 was about $4.080 trillion, making it the fifth largest economy in the world so the Real Estate Market is going to be match that.
House 1. Nice outside. Dated inside . Not worth the price . Needs modernisation
House 2 tacky inside and not homely . Not worth 39 million
House 3. The nicest interior , pity it’s not directly on a beach . Best value overall
Help others, so many are suffering in L A
I've never seen a daughter of the age of the actress talking to her mother with such googly eyes. I dont kno a if daughter supposed to be a teen or 20-sonething, dhe would ha e a stronger opinion and be inclined yo impose her opinion over her mother's especially since the property may be hers for a lot longer.
Sonya seems very polite and kind ❤. We need more people like her.
does the house have fire insurance? if not, OMG😮
One word
Obscene
How about taking a few mill and buying land and building your own home way bigger , the way you want to for way less
What's the point of having a budget and your scared of the top end? It's an unrealistic amount for you. Lower the top end where you're still in your comfort zone.
Its so beautiful to be happy for others
Why do you need 8 bathrooms 🤷♀️
I bought a house here...in My dreams
I bet you never been to kitchen like this 🤣 what are you talking about her budget is 40 mil and she lives in greenwich, CT i bet you her kitchen is way bigger and better than this kitchen
In my opinion not a good way to say it , just saying
Makes me sick
Such BS, although house #2 was the best of the lot.
Nepo baby laughing because she knows she's never going to have to work
These 2 seem so weird, plastic or robotic type.
Actors?
Why would anyone with wealth, purchase property that's literally on top of another property? Makes absolutely no sence.
Stupid a big house for 26 million vs one at top of budget
SERIOUSLY, WHY WOULD A MOTHER AND DAUGHTER EVEN NEED A HIME THIS SIZE. I TH8NK IT IS ALL ABOUT INVESTMENT MEANING NOT WHAT TO DO WITH SO MUCH MONEY.
Who?
What the hell I’d actually kill myself if I spent 35 million on that first house Jesus 😂 might be the most overpriced home I have ever seen in my entire life holy Christ.
No taste! Mum just got shafted😢😢😢😢😢
Help other widows and others wonen
This lady is a bad actor. 😂
The rich are ridiculous
The daughter Brooklyn is so beautiful!
Too expensive
Hahahaha I will never paid that much for such a boring house who looks so identical to all the other houses in that area.😂😂😂😂😂
Эти дома целы ? Пожар у вас .
Gross
this makes me sick.
WHY WOULD YOU SPEND. 25- 40 MILLION FOR A HOUSE THAT IS ON 2 MAJOR FAULT LINES. 😂 LMAO.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON IT.
If any more rich people need to throw money away. Please throw it my way. I will put it to good use to make more money. Instead of wasting it.
She runs a charity wow
This is so fake!!!!!!!
