Embarrassing to place such a low bid for a house as lovely and dreamy as this one. There simply is no price for that spectacular view, several bedrooms, big kitchen, ready to move in house. My mother's family is from Abruzzo. We sold my grandfather's house to a rich English couple, they rarely come to Italy but their son, who is not even 20, lives in the house. He is quickly learning Italian and the local dialect, he made friends with the boys and girls of the small village and is often at dinner at my aunt's house because he can't cook. Apparently he loves his life in Abruzzo and refuses to return to the UK, it's a strange situation but he is a very nice guy. Some houses can be old but they are cheap and you can renovate them. About Abruzzo I can certainly say that it is a beautiful region where to leave. There are mountains where also ski in winter time, sea side is nice, there are lakes, Rome is 2 hours away and Naples is 3 hours away and it is well connected to the North. Food is very genuine and people are lovely.
Hello there; given the sudden economic impact of Covid-19; would you say purchasing property in the Abruzzo region for a reasonable price is doable?? Just asking out of curiosity!!! Hypothetically; if one had 40,000 dollars; are they able to purchase a decent old farm house in a small village??
Hello@@lisamuchi8764 , I cannot say yes they are for the reason that I do not know the market. I can tell you that last summer I went to Borrello and some flats were on sale for 10,000 euros. Obviously the price depends on the land the house has. Also there are few villages well known, like Roccaraso or Rocca di Mezzo for example, which are more expensive than others.
...apart from Brexit...there is another "golden rule" regarding this kind of purchases..."rent first and stay for at least a solid year in a particular place to see if is for you".

Interesting how these houses aren’t “dressed” for sale compared to those in UK settings. Nice ladies who have a firm idea of what they’re looking for, and love Sara Damergi from Coast vs Country. House 2 is my pick.
I realized that at the end. The trouble is that they cut and paste these shows so much that the 80k hadn't been mentioned when they announced the total of 145k. Anyway, thanks for answering.
Gosh the brown haired lady seems kind of hard to please. That could be difficult. looks like they need separate quarters, or understand that there may be compromises.
The last house is best for the Brits. Level land, space on patio, views, nearby town that looks bustling, and not deserted like a few of the others. I don't know what would happen with Brixit with buying a foreign property. UK is now not financially connected to Europe. If they do buy a property together they need a legal agreement as to how the property will be handled if one of them dies Would they have to buy out that 1/2 of the property to the heirs? Stickey wicket. I think they are unrealistic, in trying to bring reno ideas from their present life to Italy. Cutting out walls in a stone building is very difficult as well as costly. Maybe they should rent a home together for a trial run in Italy. See what it entails. They mentioned working in Italy, but Foreign workers are not welcome, as far as I heard. I think their heads are in England, even if their hearts are dreaming of Italy.
Interesting. Seeing how old people end up dying alone, or living in nursing homes, this is a great way to set up for yourself for productive and vibrant life in old age. Get together with other old people your age whom you totally trust and plan for the future. Identify simple jobs and hobbies you could undertake while at it... This would also be a good opportunity for AirBNB packages.
You need an income of 8500 euros annually to get residency. Pay your tax in Italy and make the voluntary contribution to the health service and you:re all set.
Many American clients write to us asking whether special documents are necessary to go through with the purchase of property in Italy and if they have to pay higher taxes compared to EU citizens. 70k ok but how high the taxes and fees??
Interesting how these houses aren’t “dressed” for sale compared to those in UK settings. Nice ladies who have a firm idea of what they’re looking for, and love Sara Damergi from Coast vs Country. House 2 is my pick.
I wish the give out the price in dollar money I don't understand pound
It would be nice to know if they bought it.
That was a ridiculous, cheeky offer! They want everything for a few pounds!
“...hearing-aid beige...’ 😂
Thank you, are any affordable homes in Europe wheelchair accessible?
No thoughts or words on community or practical resources ?
As a first generation American Italian, I would scream to find Brits as my neighbor if I moved to homeland Italy.
Non ho capito il prezzo della casa più piccola quella con il soppalco.
Hi, is there anybody who could rewrite what the lady answered to the question 27:59 ? Thanks
The most important part is no stress and tension of the u.k. u.s. Canada...
The rest is irrelevant, can fix it slowly.
what a lovely and cute couple. I loved the views
Kind of funny on that one house she did not escort them in at all. All the other ones she did. Wonder why, wonder what she knows?
👻?
I think the sub-titels are SO funny...especially where it says the 2 ladies will be living in a BROTHEL!!!
WHAT HAPPENED???? C'MON NOT FAIR. - PLEASE DO PART II.. The "episode 2" on the list is not the conclusion of this episode.
That 2nd place! Love it!
brothel .... jeepers people find good transcribers!
Would go for the first house ❤
I want a house overlooking the ⛵
I wanted to see if they got the house!!
How does 109, 000 plus 65,000 make a total of 145,000?
that is if the seller was gonna put the price down to 80k
I realized that at the end. The trouble is that they cut and paste these shows so much that the 80k hadn't been mentioned when they announced the total of 145k. Anyway, thanks for answering.
I caught that too. Good deal!
It has been my experience that sale prices are more flexible outside the US. I am always amazed at how far they are willing to drop.
I think their heads are in England, even if their hearts are dreaming of Italy.
posto fantastico
I would want the structure over the water and make it water tight. Reminds me of fishing camps in south Louisiana.
How does the fall of Brexit affect their ability to go into Italy and take on a task like this without the simplicity of a common market?
Very good question! Everything has seemingly turned for the worst over there. I hope they aren't regretting their move!
You need an income of 8500 euros annually to get residency. Pay your tax in Italy and make the voluntary contribution to the health service and you:re all set.
Behind those mountains there is latium and rome
I eould like to see the before and after
Sounds like my friend Tracy and me!
How would you go about moving from the US to this area?
Many American clients write to us asking whether special documents are necessary to go through with the purchase of property in Italy and if they have to pay higher taxes compared to EU citizens. Here some answers. www.abruzzoruralproperty.com/blog-en/entry/which-documents-americans-need-to-purchase-house-in-italy
I would buy the Tween farm house if I could go to live in italy !!
Very nice video . Great work
The music is great.
Pour habiter dans un pays, il faut connaître la langue, donc mesdames apprenez l'italien
So did they get it? Such a cliffhanger. 😄
Not the way they wanted it - thats no cliff hanger.
Does this part of Italy get snow in the winter ? ❄🇮🇹
Yes in the mountains, sometimes in the hills and even on the coast.
@@Abruzzoruralproperty grazie 🤗
Every place is popular with foreign investors
Can you provide me information about buying a small house in Molise as Pakistani
" friends"
"with benefits".
You know that women can be good friends WITHOUT a romantic attachment???? Bloody heck! I’m single and not gay and if I had a compatible friend, I would do this in a heartbeat!
