Voiding mine on my 17 ultra cost me when transmission broke 3rd, but any vendor/manufacturers know we typically don't have $$ or time to fight back, exactly why local 5.0 write most tickets to road truck drivers or travelers, ! Ride it, enjoy it, and decide our risk vs cost!! I have since bought outside on warranty. 😊

didn't the federal government force Harley to modify their warranty program so that aftermarket parts, and non Harley dealers won't void the warranty?

Yup.. And Harley Davidson corporation doesn't care about the lawsuit.. Even if a Dealership does 100% of the work and upgrades. Anything aftermarket and not stock settings? It can still void the warranty use. Not the warranty itself

Yes they did. I bought a '23 SGST . The dealer had already did a Stage 1 w/ engine breakin on the dyno.with only 28 mi. on the clock. Fast forward to the breakin service and at the same time i had the Zippers 468 installed with the whole S&S cam chest kit. As long as i had the dealer perform the work, the warranty was good to go. Im not worried. The dealer themselves told me Harley cant void it.

I wouldn’t with the dealerships near me. They try to screw younover one way or another. My speedometer is clearly off and I had the bike 2 weeks and they basically talked me out of getting it checked out saying they will bill me for label or time if they don’t discover anything. And that I can’t trust gps. Even though I told them my truck matches gps pretty well and I road next to someone that had no issues with theirs verify. Made me sick the way their threats came off so I just wrote it off as worthless.

Older bikes are great, less electronic gizmos, it's supposed to be riding not radio noise or blinks blink error code lights! Yes, I love the power of my 20 m8, but that's my weakness, dream of more power, but better riders can do more with less bike!
