    Could I please have the link for this sensor. I have the exact same machine as you’re showing in this video. I did email but the one you suggested looked nothing like the one in the machine. Thanks

    My electrical wire is broken where it meets the crimping at the white plastic connector. Do I need to replace the whole wire? If so do you sell the part?

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  5 лет назад

      Hi Steve, you may be able to cut it and re-crimp the wire, if not the wire would usually come as a complete harness www.espares.co.uk/search/ca1236/washers-and-dryers?SearchTerm=hoover%20wiring

      The connector to the dryer sensor was also broken, after some research I have found it on rs components, cost of the spare less than 0.3€. I have recrimped it myself. The connector is to find as "TE Connectivity AMP DUOPLUG, 2.5mm Pitch, 3 Way, 1 Row Female PCB Header" . Finally it works again on my side.

    Hi, i have the same Washer Dryer in the video. Let me explain my problem:
    a few months ago the machine gave E12 when trying using the Cotton dryer program, and E11 when using the synthetic drying program. I called a technician and he said that the sensor was a bit dirty, he anyways make it work for the synthetics program (the cotton one still gave E12)
    This leads to present, my machine is not drying anymore and in return some times says E12, other times doesn't say anything, should i replace the sensor? Or should i call the technician to take it away and repair it?
    Hope you can help me, thanks

      Please notice that most of the times the machine get to the end of the cycle, but it just doesn't blow hot air

      It may be your dryer element has failed. Watch another video for more details:
      ruclips.net/video/EYPCL9jsrwQ/видео.html
      If you need to replace any part it may be a good idea to replace the sensor anyway as a precaution as it may be intermittent.

    hi my candy wash and dry machine cuts the power even when the machine is turned off.However i have disconnected the wires from the sensor and the power doesnt cut anymore then the e11 code is appear.Can you please help in this case.
    Thanks

      You must reconnect the sensor or you will continue to get the E11 error. It is very unlikely that the sensor is the problem, it is more likely to be due to either the dryer element, the wash heater element or the mains filter which all can intermittently pass current to earth tripping your fuseboard.

    hi, i get error e11 in my hoover wdyn-11746 pg8 at the end of washing program when start drying, to make it work i just unplug the current cable and then plug it again and when i turn it on it starts drying. I cheked the cable and it seems ok, can it be the sensor or what else?

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  7 лет назад

      Hi Massimo, the wires often fracture and go intermittent so carefully 'pull' the wires as if they have fractured they will easily break. If they seem ok replace the sensor.

    Hi , Bought a used Hoover WDYN9646G washer dryer in New condition but after the installation the control unit only changes between Cottons and Wool&Silk wont allowed me to change the setting to my preferred one also can not change to the Rapid wash setting 14,30,44 , Please is there a way to reset or it needed a repair ? Thanks

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  7 лет назад

      Hi Dan, the machine will do a reset every time the power is disconnected. If your machine will not select the other programmes check your instruction book. If you are trying to set before a programme is started the fault may be the selector: www.espares.co.uk/product/es1497095/ or the control module.

      Thanks for the reply, is the control unit a easy fix DIY or I will need a technician to replace it for me also where can I buy the Control unit module ?

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  7 лет назад

      There are a number of different modules for your machine, to confirm the correct one we need your product code and serial number.

    I have the same E11 issue with my EVO W 4853 D Candy Washdryer but couldn't find any snapped cable. I have replaced the sensor but it didn't help. Is there a way to check the wires? It is very tough to get to the source of the wires though. Any help would be appreciated.

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  8 лет назад

      +Obaid Mushtaq The wires often break where they bend the most so at sharp angles or next to the clip. If you carefully pull the wires at this point the insulation will stretch and break showing the conductor is broken.

    • @CricketFuss
      @CricketFuss 8 лет назад

      +eSpares Thanks for the quick reply. OK. I will try to check once again carefully. Last evening I checked but couldn't find any break.
      Is there any other reason of getting E11? I get it at the end of most of the programs and the machine keeps some water in it and throws this error.

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  8 лет назад

      +Obaid Mushtaq If you see our Hoover/Candy error video:
      ruclips.net/video/kzhlvB2LjXg/видео.html
      It states 'A E11 error code indicated there's an open circuit on the dryer heater or a module issue. it's a good idea to check the wiring from the sensor on the top the drum to the circuit board as this can become damaged during the spin cycle.
      So check the heater element, its connections and if no other problem is found it could be a module fault.

      +eSpares Already seen that yet another awesome video from you guys.
      In my case when I start a drying program, it starts and the duct (which has the sensor I replaced) gets hot. It appears to function but at the very end of the cycle, it says E11 and stops with some residual water. So if things are getting hot, means that there is no open circuit in the dryer. Am I understanding it right?
      Which module do you actually refer which could have the problem?

    • @eSpares
      @eSpares  8 лет назад

      +Obaid Mushtaq If it is heating then the module and element must be working (but may be intermittent). If the wires check ok clean the pump. During drying the condenser is cooled by water trickling through and if not emptied may be giving an error. This is not listed so may also be E11. if it still reoccurs might be the pump sticking?.
