i noticed a few times u when to tap the little pots/vials I personally wouldn't as I've found it generally kills some of the good bacteria. id use a designated pippete to suck them out the little pots/vials to move to a larger container would be a lot easier to do you find u go through a lot of airstones if so the never clog air stones are the best.
Have you ever tried feeding them a diet of Blue Spirulina? I am curious about it. Would it turn them or the water blue in the same way a Red Magic diet turns them red? Or is the redness due to heightened hemoglobin? I am wondering if I keep 3 tanks, feed one either the Packet 3 green powder or a green Spirulina, feed one blue Spirulina, and feed one Red Magic, and keep the corresponding colour of LED on them throughout their development, whether they would all ultimately grow and evolve into having markedly different colourations? If so, if they were then cross bred... You can't deny that ridiculous hypothetical rainbow Sea Monkeys would be a great idea. :P Fantasy aside, have you used Blue Spirulina?
I have never heard of blue spirulina but I really want to get some now. I love this experiment idea, I would LOVE rainbow sea monkeys, I actually had a similar idea in mind for an upcoming video with some other algae. I think it is the colouring of the red magic that turns them redish. I would have thought if you cross bred different colours you would just end up with brown, like with different coloured shrimp, if you mix red and blue you get brown rather than some cool stripey shrimp. I am going to buy blue spirulina now haha
Love it x
Thanks so much Mark x

@@TeaandtheDeepbluesea the video was great full of detail as most videos don't go in to that much detail.
