Didn't expect such an innocent performance would get 10k views, but thank you all for your kind words and comments! :) I had to rush immediately afterwards and therefore I unfortunately didn't play another one. :\
It's appropriately PATHETIC that once you started playing the crowd of passersby and lingerers didn't immediately rush over to hear you better and bear witness to the greatness and smile at each other in dumb wonder at how lucky they were that somebody like you sat down and blessed them like that. For example, I just noticed some dumbass walk right by and scratch his head and...just keep walking. Ugh. UGGGGHHHHHHHH. 😞 Pathetic! 🤦🏻♂️ But hey man, you were AWESOME. Thank you! (I'm gonna try to get my girlfriend and future wife Inbar Rothschild to loosen up and play randomly in public like this, wish me luck!)
@@tommeng6522 well he/she probably did, Beethoven is known to be one of the first ever classical-romantic composer, the emotion behind his pieces are unbelievable
"Can you play another one?" "HUH?" Lmao I'm fkin dead 💀 Also, bravo! I love this piece. Truly truly deserving of the title "passionate". I've been to Palazzo Strozzi iirc, but I'm afraid there was no piano there at the time and I also did not play it at the time so it wouldn't have exactly made a difference if there was lol.
Virtuoso masking good music on the street jjad been invited to play that streetusic but now playing in the scala concert house. Huuoih that is an honor for the musician of the street Jallrluyiah

A very good performance, how come he performed there?
My performance here is by memory of the score (which I read and practiced long before playing), not by ear. I am classically trained, so I can read notes and play by ear.
The intro was played out of rhythm, and not only the intro. There are a lot of notation errors and dynamics problems. A lot of work, but it's always good when there is something to work on)
When I play the intro I usually play it "out of rhythm" because I like it that way. I wouldn't really say it's "out of rhythm" though, so that's where our opinions differ.
He made some mistakes, he fat fingered some notes, and had some struggles in some parts, but other than that, performance was pretty good, You gotta account the ,pressure he might have been under, by just being in public ,that's not that easy to manage
Or maybe he made some notation errors Cause i heard natural notes being played instead of flats, every single time a specific part came, i wonder what happened there,
Sure, several small errors that only someone who has studied the piece would notice. I am learning this movement now and hope to play it someday as well as he does (doubtful). Remember - this is a young man visiting a museum who decided to play a fairly big piece on a public piano. It went super well! We cant all play it like Barenboim :-). Obviously this i terpretation was a hit with people and I really enjoyed the performance!
Finally, someone plays my favorite movement. Everyone always does the third.
Listening how the first chords vibrate across the building gives me chills. So powerful, so beautiful!

That’s tuff
do another one of these!
Beethovens "Pathetique" and the word "innocent" in one sentence? You shouldn't underrate your performance 🙃
Best wishes ❤️ and greetings from germany
Bravo......very good me gusto mucho la interpretación

I love the acoustics of the palazzo!
Yes! I think a string quartet would sound great there, too.
Bravo
LOL one reply
Puts all of his emotion, anger and feeling into the piece, and puts out the best performance of this amazing piece.
Can you play another one?
Huh?
Very funny moment 🤣 and after such a solid performance . This is one of my favourite public piano videos on RUclips
"Can you play another one?"
"What, one of the greatest musical compositions of all time wasnt enough for you?"
No it means they loved his playing and want more
I cried watching this performance. My god, what a beautiful piece and what an amazing display of it ...
I agree, but did you really cry?
@@tommeng6522 well he/she probably did, Beethoven is known to be one of the first ever classical-romantic composer, the emotion behind his pieces are unbelievable

like how he messed up at 2 minutes, but still kept going, i like it
Great performance, very good interpretation, you clearly understand Beethoven Braaaavooo, I rarely see such great performances of Beethoven
To stay in that energy with all the hustle and bustle around you, and play so spectacularly without sheet music shows how amazing you are! Bravo
Wow. I couldn’t have kept walking by. Very expressive
I'd have been late for work but I wouldn't give a shit. When music is played like this, it is worth the punishment later 😊
A Spanish man plays exquisite German classical in Italy. I love Europe!

"No full auto in the building!"
Such a Great Performance! Only thing matters that sound is not clear, maybe recorded in public.
Thank you! I played in a busy, public location, so yes--the sound wasn't so crystal-clear.
Merveilleux.
Wish i was there lol you play rly well, bet the acoustics sounded amazing irl,, rip audio quality
Magnificent

at 4:39 you can hear some german kids mocking him and one says "angeber" which means "show off" so now the question to those kids is w h y
But this was performed in Italy
@@martinii7904 as someone who speaks german, i can confirm this is true , also young kids these days suck like i wish i could strangle them

A little over thirteen years!

muito bom 👏🗿✅
why would you play pathetique 1st movement there
Wow! A public piano that isn’t extremely out of tune!!! Of course a great performance but damn nice piano for an outdoors one…
