If I'm ever struggling to sleep I put on my oculus quest 2, pop into VRChat and load up "CUDDLE ME!" I've desensitized myself to my room because my bed is also my gaming chair... But going into another place where its specificly for sleeping just makes me tired.
@ABDØ not rly My cousin was able to fall asleep in like 2-5 seconds he was talking and then fell asleep for real , my mother is also capable to fall asleep in like 1 min while i need 10-40min (and thats after learning how to fall asleep faster before that it took me hours of lying like a log in darkness)

@@postfreeedits Didn't work that much. I've found something that makes mental chatter go away tho (thus making it easier to fall asleep) : simply focusing on my breath and my heart beat. This way my brain can't think of a third thing at the same time and then boom, I fall asleep in a few minutes.

put the alarm clock or your phone away from your bed open the curtains as soon as you wake up or turn the lights on if it's still dark outside create a morning routine
It works. I couldn't sleep today so I played a relaxing music, listened to it while imagining myself on a beach. I made myself sense and feel the sand, the water, the air and the peace. Took a few deep breaths and the next minute, I was asleep. I slept for straight 8 hours 🤌
I once tried these sleep talking meditation guides, and first thing to do is to think about every part of your body and relax them like this method. Since then I always make this and it helps so much!

@StingSovik Avoid taking tea or coffee past evening. Avoid all gadgets including mobile phone tv monitor etc past 7'o clock. Exercise daily. Goto bed everyday at the same time even if you don't get sleep. Turn off lights. And use this military technic. The key is to relax the muscles starting from head to toe. Feel the relief. Just concemtrate on the breathing and relaxation of the muscle while eyes closed. Hope this will be helpful. Screen time is the biggest villain in this modern era than anything else. It's hard to not to look at the screens. Good luck
I think the biggest part of being able to fall asleep quickly is to have a free mind when you lay down. Too many of us hold too much stress, anxiety, worry and fear in our heads, keeping our minds alert as we try to fall asleep. Staying active during the day, doing your best in your personal life and avoiding negativity ahould be very beneficial to fall asleep faster. A free mind is a calm mind. And calm minds don't struggle to sleep.

alarm. pretty obvious. if you already use it, try setting on repeat. if you don't live alone, try telling the person that wakes up first to wake you up by force.
@@periperiisfree i said it, put it on repeat. i don't know if every phone has it, but when you shut it down or ignore, it returns, every couple minutes, and you can change to your own desire. just have your regular alarm and create others on the same time but a little later.

None of these little tricks ever seem to work for me, but this one did!! I have tried ALL of the typical suggestions to get a good nights’ sleep, but sometimes my body just doesn’t want to. I now take ADHD meds on top of it all, so that is an extra barrier. I had only gotten 4 hrs’ sleep the night before and I was prepared to do it again until I found this video. I was thinking, “It’s not gonna work, but I might as well try it anyway.” I passed out within 2-3 minutes.

@@postfreeedits Didn't work that much. I've found something that makes mental chatter go away tho (thus making it easier to fall asleep) : simply focusing on my breath and my heart beat. This way my brain can't think of a third thing at the same time and then boom, I fall asleep in a few minutes.

@StingSovik Avoid taking tea or coffee past evening. Avoid all gadgets including mobile phone tv monitor etc past 7'o clock. Exercise daily. Goto bed everyday at the same time even if you don't get sleep. Turn off lights. And use this military technic. The key is to relax the muscles starting from head to toe. Feel the relief. Just concemtrate on the breathing and relaxation of the muscle while eyes closed. Hope this will be helpful. Screen time is the biggest villain in this modern era than anything else. It's hard to not to look at the screens. Good luck

I think the biggest part of being able to fall asleep quickly is to have a free mind when you lay down. Too many of us hold too much stress, anxiety, worry and fear in our heads, keeping our minds alert as we try to fall asleep. Staying active during the day, doing your best in your personal life and avoiding negativity ahould be very beneficial to fall asleep faster. A free mind is a calm mind. And calm minds don't struggle to sleep.

@@periperiisfree i said it, put it on repeat. i don't know if every phone has it, but when you shut it down or ignore, it returns, every couple minutes, and you can change to your own desire. just have your regular alarm and create others on the same time but a little later.

None of these little tricks ever seem to work for me, but this one did!! I have tried ALL of the typical suggestions to get a good nights’ sleep, but sometimes my body just doesn’t want to. I now take ADHD meds on top of it all, so that is an extra barrier. I had only gotten 4 hrs’ sleep the night before and I was prepared to do it again until I found this video. I was thinking, “It’s not gonna work, but I might as well try it anyway.” I passed out within 2-3 minutes.
