This really works for me, I struggle from anxiety and I have been doing this for few years now. The only thing is instead of imagining myself on a beach I just pray.
alarm. pretty obvious. if you already use it, try setting on repeat. if you don't live alone, try telling the person that wakes up first to wake you up by force.
@@periperiisfree i said it, put it on repeat. i don't know if every phone has it, but when you shut it down or ignore, it returns, every couple minutes, and you can change to your own desire. just have your regular alarm and create others on the same time but a little later.

That’s essentially progressive muscle relaxation. Therapists suggest it often. (I’m a therapist) The other is imagery. Sleep is rough for me. I use the RUclips sleep hypnosis videos. They work for me amongst many other things.
None of these little tricks ever seem to work for me, but this one did!! I have tried ALL of the typical suggestions to get a good nights’ sleep, but sometimes my body just doesn’t want to. I now take ADHD meds on top of it all, so that is an extra barrier. I had only gotten 4 hrs’ sleep the night before and I was prepared to do it again until I found this video. I was thinking, “It’s not gonna work, but I might as well try it anyway.” I passed out within 2-3 minutes.

I also learned a new technique to fall asleep It's called *Highschool Sleepers* To perform it, you need to study a theoretical subject for 16 hours and sleep for 4 hours. Do note that, you absolutely cannot eat or drink in those 16 hours. The next day you sleep like a baby in under 30s
This is actually used in yoga to end off your session and soak in your routine. You tense all your muscles one at a time relax them and then imagine them melting away for 10 ish minutes with a towel over your eyes. Very calming and grounding practice
What? This method will work regardless if you train 15 hours a day. This method relaxes your body, and puts your mind in a peaceful state, thats why it works on many people.

This is actually used in yoga to end off your session and soak in your routine. You tense all your muscles one at a time relax them and then imagine them melting away for 10 ish minutes with a towel over your eyes. Very calming and grounding practice
