***IMPORTANT***: Be sure to conduct the OFHG dry start/priming process to purge the oil system of ALL air. Otherwise you risk your rod bearings scorching and destroying your entire engine! This can happen on any BMW motor. You can run the OFHG priming procedure in two ways. #1: Via BMW ISTA or a bidirectional scan tool. This is the BMW recommended method and there is an option specifically for this. #2: You can pull the wires from 4-5 of your coils and then try to crank the car for 10 seconds. Do this 3 times. It will imitate the BMW ISTA/Scan Tool function at its core by squirting oil through the galleys to purge air.
