jordan was NOT an ethical scorer, he got so many soft calls that no other player would get. in his 37ppg season he was getting 12 FTs per game which is even more than harden got in his MVP season
I'll still argue this for LeBron. Dude is so big, refs often don't see or flatout ignore the contact that would result in fouls if it was a smaller player. So he's had to adapt to that. That being said, the flopping does get annoying at times. Breaks the flow of the game
ethical shooter is weird. its easier for shooter. Shaq never flopped but had shoot loads of FT because people would just foul. Ethical favours shooters because they don't get a lot of contact.
I would think people like Hakeem and Jerry West could be people considered ethical scorers, potentially others like Duncan, Ray Allen and Charles Barkley
@@Post2k69he scored 1/3 of his points from fts(some of it being flopping some of it being fouls given by refs) so he’s not as ethical as the other players listed whatsoever

@Post2k69 even if his shot isn't going down, the defenders have to respect him, giving extreme spacing just by him existing. That's an impact. He also gives maximum effort on defense. You mention the lakers series, and in that series he played great D. The narrative is that he's washed and can't defend anymore, but as someone who has watched 80% of warriors games, that is simply not true. If you're gonna put klay there curry should be there too.
@@Post2k69 just looking at raw free throws and calling them a bad scorer is a braindead take. Because every scorer has games where they have high free throws. Especially if those free throws come from intentional fouling. Think of late game situation, or players like shaq and wilt. I mean both MJ and Karl Malone are known for having high free throw games but for some reason MJ is respected and Karl ( not counting off the court) is never talked in a good light when it comes to his on the court game. I also thing it’s stupid to compare Lebron James and Klay Thompson and say one is a better scorer because one shoots less free throws per game. They play two completely different styles. This goes for any player that scores primarily in the paint. Allen iverson, D rose, JA Morant, D wade, etc types naturally shoot more free throws does it mean they are bad? This sounds like fighting game players calling characters or other players honest

Fair enough

I love LeBron but his flopping is too much
LeBron literly started the head jerk foul baiting, and is one of the biggest floppers and whiners in the leauge.
so that amount of calls and non-calls (for traveling and offensive fouls) that Lebron enjoy from the refs is not enough?
Hell no

true
I would Talk Kobe & Melo over Bird & Curry if we’re talking ethical scoring

Jordan was a ft merchant bruh, the refs gave him every call. Even Magic joked about how protected he was. Goat player but deffo not an ethical scorer.
