In the world of sports, there has always been a fascination with records. Breaking a record and pushing the limit of what’s possible has always been a trademark of human race, from Roger Bannister’s 4-minute mile, to Usain Bolt’s 9.58, and Michael Phelps’ 8 gold medals at one Olympics.
Records are there to be broken, however, there are those records that stand the test of time and seem to be unbreakable, and here are 15 of the NBA’s most unbreakable records

Blocked shots were not an "official" NBA stat until 1974. However, many teams kept track as an "internal" stat. In the 150-odd games Wilt played where the team counted blocks, he averaged 8.8 BPG. In 1973, "Grandpa" Wilt blocked 26 shots in a game where he knew the NBA was keeping track in preparation of making it official.

Even the other players who are always in that conversation (of any era) admit that what Wilt accomplished was almost mythical. Watch a good documentary on Wilt (one that gives you his stats and physical abilities) and you will have to pick your jaw up off the floor. He is also the ultimate "physical freak of nature".
