Can you post a video about your family story! Upbringings, how you met your husband, age you had kids, when you decided to stop working a 9-5 and what sparked it.

I am a retired senior, 63 years old and I love your content! It is so refreshing to see a young family following their dreams in a somewhat unconventional way. I make about $300-$400 a month on online earning sites, doing surveys, watching videos, playing games etc. It's pretty easy money once you learn how to do it. I would love to see healthy cooking videos and the cost breakdown per meal.

I just subscribed to your channel a month or so ago. Not even sure how I found it. I’m in my mid 70’s and enjoy watching a few different channels. Mostly off grid, homestead, cabin building and a couple RV/Van dweller channels. Much of what I watch is similar to things I have done in my younger years. I guess I kinda relive my past through some of you younger folks. If someone strikes me as a good person and hard working I can relate to them. I get enjoyment from watching the videos and help a hard working RUclipsr with their income. I think in today’s economy a lot of younger folks are dreaming of a lifestyle similar to yours so any videos that would help them get started would probably be well received. Thanks for sharing and good luck to you 😎

Thank you for transparency about money. I agree, we are so weirdly taboo about it, but I think it's so important to talk about to unshame money for people. Unfortunately, we do live in a world where we need money to partake in various parts of society. So we should set ourselves free to talk about it and understand it better! Thank you for doing that :)

I have been doing RUclips since 2018, it took me a long long time to get the number of subscribers I have now. I don't hardly make anything. I make over $100 every four months or so. I don't get Alot of views but I'm ok with that I feel I have worked hard shown our life upfront with everything we do. Starting over with life and we bought our now homestead that still a working progress four years later. Yes I feel that I do our best with what we have. I also sell the handmade goat milk beauty products. But don't make a whole lot. I love doing what I do. You're a nice breath of fresh air. Thank you for sharing. Till next time God Bless.

I am aware it comes from Google Adsense. So does that mean it depends on whether your subs watch the Ads? Do you get to decide how many Ads to insert? Also do views matter? Do watch hours contribute to income in any way or are they just necessary to ensure you remain monetized ?

Then RUclips will contact you when you have 1,000 subs and have your 5,000 watch hours? To monetize your channel And set up your paycheck? I also heard that if you make less than $100 in a month, that RUclips will hold it until you make $100 total then pay you. Is this correct? And RUclips only pays out at the end of the following month. So, I'd I started my channel in August I would get paid at the end of September if I make over $100. Am I correct?

I would be interested in your thoughts on teaching kids about being frugal. Do you think homeschooling helped your girls not feel the pressure of keeping up with peers? My nieces and nephews are all in public school and I have no control over their schooling. But I would certainly like to know about kids and helping them be frugal. I don’t know if maybe you have friends/family who have kids in public school and have seen differences with your kids. All of my grandparents are deceased and so is my dad so my nieces and nephews (I have 2 of each) don’t have many they can turn to (mainly just me and my siblings). So I just find myself worrying about them a lot especially if me/my sis/bro were to pass as it would leave them with mainly just each other to depend on. My sis and bro aren’t very good with finances/saving. So I don’t know that they learn much at home or at school about money/finances/etc.

Another thing I would add for your viewers to know is that the 4000 watch hours resets after a year. Last year I had the watch hours, but not the subscribers. The clock reset and it is like starting all over again, which can be very frustrating. So when you say it is hard and takes time, it does. It is rare to have a channel that takes off right away. The algorithm is a beast and trying to break through takes time. Just don't give up, keep going. Last year I had two major surgeries which caused me to stop recording, so while it is frustrating to restart the watch hours, I am not going to let that stop me. Thanks for sharing!

That’s fantastic!! Which free app you use for editing and how can you record what’s on your phone (RUclips analytics) by flipping your phone? I want to learn. Thanks

She mentioned she uses iMovie. It’s a free app for iPhone users.

I love your channel! I know you have to pay taxes on this income but does RUclips get a certain percentage of your earnings?

RUclips does keep about half of the ad revenue. The amount I showed is after RUclips takes their cut, so they are getting about the same amount. In other words, YT is making so much money!💰😆
