He plays with so much soul and passion.❤

Till is a true poet. His lyrics can be interpreted differently. The text written by Till Lindemann describes the situation of a clone crying out for an identity. (Wikipedia Germany)

This is my favorite song & version by Rammstein... thank you for doing this Alex... and sorry it took me so long to find that you have done Rammstein.

It is awesome that you analyze the text in your video!!! I think 99% of people have no idea how deep and emotional the lyrics of Rammstein are, they just see fire... ;) And you make that clear! Even I, as a German who understands every word, often sit there for weeks and listen to the songs to understand what they want to express.

I heard him say, This applies to all abandoned children. Like Kasper Hauser,. This was a child who was founded in Germany in the 19th century. It had no human contact before

Awesome reaction. I'm cool with pauses, it's better than no video. Sehnsucht live in Paris is also fantastic, with an excellent riff.

The story told in the song is reminiscent of Frankenstein's monster. It is about a child who was not conceived naturally, but was bred in a glass. The song was written by the singer (Till Lindemann) and the lead guitarist (Richard Kruspe). Both had complicated relationships with their mothers.
PS: This is one of the few songs that give me goosebumps. Because of this AMAZING guitar.

No, Till had no problems with his mother. He had problems with his father. Richard plays really beautiful.

I have the same opinion about the statement of the lyrics as you do. And I am German! So the song has to do with the dangers of creating humans artificially. For years I have been searching for another meaning, but I do not find it.
There is a statement that it has something to do with the bad relationship of Richard (the lead guitarist) to his mother. In the same statement, however, Till's supposed bad relationship with his mother is also mentioned, but there is no evidence for this. Till has a very good relationship with his mother.
I really like how much you are interested in the songs. Great reaction!

The way I see it (and what I speculate to be the reason for all this buzz about the band members' mothers) is that one can also interpret the song as sort inner monologue by a lonely child or adult about feeling disconnected/ unable to take part in the "human exerience" as such, which is rooted in the complex damage a loveless and traumatizing childhood can do to the human psyche. Growing up abused or without affection can lead to self erasure - the inability to form a sense of self. The Frankenstein/ cloning - trope therefore serves as a metaphor for the loss - or general absence - of identity and the unrealizable yearning for connection. While the creature in Frankenstein is raging against his creator for abandoning him, here the lyrical I's anger is directed at a (non-present) maternal figure.

It isn't about Richard's Mother, at least not directly. Till wrote the lyrics and Richard just said that he can really relate to it though his experiences may also have inspired Till. Till has had a difficult relationship with his Mother at times, there was a period when they didn't talk and he's described her as being cutting and sarcastic though he obviously loves her dearly too. Till has said in the past that it may be about his Mother at least in part.

My absolute favorite song from Paris is „Wollt Ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen“
Paris is a kind of concert movie with, depending on the song, more or less post editing.

Hello Alex, this is HL from Germany and I hope you're well... don't hope that You will understand Rammstein and Till - also natives have their problems with understanding these lyrics totally. So when You want to react to something fantastic from Germany, try to hear "Radio" or "Mann gegen Mann" or the great Rammstein Hymn "Willst DU das Bett in Flammen sehen" - be kind !

For me, the best Rammstein's ballads "Mein Hertz Brennt Piano", "Mutter" and "Ohne Dich" - Please, react to OHNE DICH official video (the best to understand the story): bit.ly/3hZb9NS or live: bit.ly/3k1Y8Fg . BTW, Till Lindemann is a poet with published work. As in his poetry, his lyrics for Rammstein are full of double meaning and allows who reads/listen to them to have different interpretations and feelings. The band use many polemic, historical, dark themes to bring out emotions from their fans.

if you use dailymotion or vimeo as a source copyright should be less of an issue (use those sides film your reaction put it on youtube, hope it helps) which is great news since youtubes rammsteinlibary is pretty limited. edit: live versions on youtube should not be an issue either.

There are multiple influences in the making of the song one of them is Richards (Lead Guitar) relationship with his mother (he sad in many interviews that he became no love and warmth from his mother and so on...)

Audio only works now. They changed to monetization instead block for the studio audios (except for the song "feuer frei")
But official video clips I can imagine will still get blocked. But audio only works now also studio for most songs.

Many believe that it is about aborted fetuses, however it is about the artificial creation of children, experiments in general of beings who never had a mother. Additionally, this song was mainly inspired by Richard, one of the guitarists, who always had a bad relationship with his mother and always felt separated from her.

Interprete not to much in the lyrics, in German it's more playing with the words that hears good in combination of a line. No really sense but sounds good... Nicht jeder darf nippel bei Mama lecken \m/

The official music video for Mutter is creepy as hell.
It's interesting that you like Richard on lead guitar so much because in every Rammstein song he basically plays the same riff over & over & over. If it weren't for Christoph on drums & Ollie on bass with Till's voice I'd be totally bored listening to Richard.
Also saw a request for Mann Gegen Mann. You might want to read the English lyrics separately from reacting to the video. Just sayin'.
