In the mid 80's, fresh out of high school, I had a 79 Monte Carlo with a bench seat but the same color cloth interior. The outside was a metallic red. It also had the gutless V6 but I had it jacked up in the rear end with keystone mags all around. We had a major hail storm that beat it up so I had the trunk lid replaced (it was aluminum) and all other dents fixed and had the whole car repainted and replaced all of the exterior trim pieces due to fading. It looked like brand new when it was done. I had so much fun with that car and it's still my favorite car I ever owned.
I had a 80 Monte Carlo. It was red with a light brown interior. Had a V8 engine and hauled my boat around with it. I loved that car and put a lot of miles on it.

Is it still for sale? When I was 16 I got a 79 M.C. Landau. All black, half vinyl top with original Monte Carlo spoke hubs, all black interior. Man.. miss that car. Can't find anything close to it.

Pretty nice .but those monty Carlos. From that era were not like the previous generation 73 to 77. Which isn't my opinion were the best.

The 71 Monte Carlo I've seen y'all channel and y'all have some really nice cars but that Monte Carlo probably the worst car y'all ever showed. I don't mean it in a bad way because y'all have some really nice cars and I am trying to get out there to trade up with y'all one day hopefully soon...
