A real target will not be so cooperative. It will jink, duck, deploy countermeasures, etc to try and break the lock or waste the missile's energy. There is a reason that DRDO doesn't say Akash SSKP is 100%.

Actually there is no defence u call 100%..so .99.99%.So 0.01 missing probability.
There is no defence system with 100% capability in the world. Even S400 can't do that.
Maximum defence system's missile shot down success rate goes to 70% to 90%.
Btw India also have prithvi air defence, S400, akash air defence, Barak 8, AAD and many more.
India also developing BMD missile defence system like S400 .

It is a GIS system that is using live telemetry data. Folks comparing this with a blender animation will struggle to tell the difference between Unreal Engine 4 and ANSYS. No need to bother about such noobs. Saw many such noobs calling India's Moon landing "fake" because "CGI lolz".

GIS systems with live telemetry display are meant to serve a damn purpose, not to look pretty for marketing purposes. I am actually happy they showed us this actual footage instead of some dolled up silly animation like a Western arms dalal.

In real life, countries will have multiple layers of radars and satellites to detect incoming threats
Question am raising is that Akash is not the launcher to effectively neutralize multiple targets,
Akash launchers will have only 2 or 3 missiles in ready to fire mode ; so after countering 6 targets, it needs a break !
Would have much better if they invested in developing Pinaka ( multi barrel rocket launcher), to perform this mission as each launcher carries 12 rockets, like iron dome
Akash should only be a backup to Pinaka
