For anyone who doesn’t know about the plot of UKSRT8, the weird green haired anime gremlin is like a absolutely fucking deadly virus, and she’s absolutely fucking you up So all of the weird effects here that you’re seeing? The screams that you hear? They’re all happening to the main character as he slowly, very painfully dies. Even if you’re not actually feeling what the MC feels, seeing all the effects, from the absolutely bass boosted music to the hazy and distant blurriness gives you a sense of how hard SHAME (the virus) is fucking up their body. And seeing it in that light, not trying to win but just to fight to survive? That’s some good ass visual storytelling

Sorry for being 5 months late but I can answer your question. In order to read the abandon section you have to understand that the arrows moving up and the arrows moving down are meant for different players. They’re actually the same set of arrows. So just choose whichever side you want and follow ONLY the arrows moving in that direction.
Asriel809 you’re probably not gonna like this but. For the walking section you have to focus on the arrows themselves. Red ones seem to alternate between two different arrows and blue ones seem to stay one and then switch to another after 3 or 4 or so.
Still trying to figure out the pattern for when the green arrows are introduced, but still, focus on the arrows. Not the grey “bar” idk the actual term for it I’ve always just called it the bar.

Nope, as soon as you start the level, the girl from the level comes out, put the gun in your head and doesn't leave you until you complete this level without misses. But seriously, i played this game and while i couldn't beat first 20 seconds of the level, there were other levels for begginers that i liked like "we are the scarlet". The level in the video is considered one of the hardest, so not many people can beat it, but if you can survive for quite some time, you probably already have an experience playing this game

Say Ky_Dash will you be uploading the extra stage, Matoi, at some point? The only footage of it is the camera recording of the actual tournament, and the full playthrough on Laer's channel.
On subsequent plays, you might start to remember things like, "ok so this kind of thing happens here", but remembering and entire chart is not the point of the majority of these, which are made for Sight Reading Tournaments (this is what SRT in the UKSRT stands for) where people compete for top score without any prior knowledge of song and gimmicks happening.

So just choose whichever side you want and follow ONLY the arrows moving in that direction.
