tbf, it's not as if playing VOEZ can't be extremely therapeutic and calming. play any simple 14/most 13s and below like fairy's crown, hand in hand, 蒼天のリフレイン ft. 一咲美葵, そんなに私を期待させないで...... and so many more, and you'll probably understand why i absolutely adore VOEZ. it's my favorite music game of all time, without a doubt.
nah, prsk is *way* harder than bandori to play, for me, partially because it's horribly made, and partially because half the charts are complete nonsense. (i say as a VOEZ player, and i'm well aware some of our charts would make yall go "what am i looking at".)
@@DW98rosy I NEVER really said bandori was harder. In fact I agree pjsk is harder. I have played both of the games. But still, the judgment line in bandori can feel slightly weirder than pjsk. Especially the slide notes, it's easier to do in pjsk because at a higher level in bandori, you can't switch fingers to continue the slider. You can only use the first finger that taps the slider. Another example is when the slider goes from right to left, your fingers need to get ahead of the sliders before touching the judgment lines or you'll miss it. It never really happens in pjsk since it's very light and comfortable to do. Conclusion? Yea bandori judgment lines are indeed sensitive, but as for difficulty pjsk wins. And proseka has this small and big notes combination, it's very hard to read if you're playing for the first time. Like yeah wtf how do I read this?
@@Starlynn17 good points. i'm more used to not being able to switch which hand is playing a moving hold or slide note, which is likely because i started with bandori, back in 2021.

To answer your question in 8:08, it's because you're playing in Normal Mode which is like the mode for beginners, the true gameplay with the faders (and discs) is Manual Mode, which is at Live Settings → Mode Settings (you might wanna check out Technical Settings too) Second: reason why there's GCM/WACCA songs: They did a collab! For GekiChuMai, each of the three games got 2 songs from 2 out of the six main units. and for D4 they also got two from each game. (Problem is that, for EN they somehow do not have one which is Caliburne). For WACCA they did it twice, first while the game was online, and second it was part of the "rhythm games that will carry on the legacy of WACCA after its shutdown" (And again, one song is missing in EN: Oüverture)
as a maimai player, I only really play it because there weren't many chuni cabs at the time, so maimai it was. and basically, the fun is about "how the frick do i read the slides", similar but very different to chunithm also by the end of a maimai session you are genuinely worked out so hey... you get some exercise lol.
