    SANISWIFT's modern style prevails over other bulky relics. With unprecedented performance and features, this pump is unmatched in its class. It can handle multiple fixtures to solve the most difficult installations. SANISWIFT sets the standard as the ultimate gray water pump. It is a powerful unit with compact design. It offers three inlets for various installations such as a washing machine (indirect only), sink or even a shower. This unit can be installed in many locations, such as a loft/attic, upper floor, ground floor, and even a basement. The inside of the SANISWIFT is comprised of a pressure switch and circuit board assembly, which starts and stops the unit, and the motor, which drives the pump. When water enters the unit, it activates a pressure switch which in turn starts the motor. The motor is sealed for life in an oil filled enclosure. A spindle/shaft drives the impeller and therefore the moving parts are kept to an absolute minimum. The waste water from other sanitary fixtures is discharged into the SANISWIFT via two 1-1/2-Inch inlets, on either side of the housing and an additional inlet on the top of the unit. A non-return valve, which comes already assembled on the discharge rubber connector, prevents back flow into the unit. This unit has been designed with a vent connection on the lid. All plumbing codes require connection to a vent system. Please note that the vent system should be a two-way air vent. It is also highly recommended for the gray water pump to be connected to a Ground Fault Interrupter circuit. The SANISWIFT is a compact unit with attractive rounded contours that fits neatly into tight spaces.

    Do you install a check valve for the discharge line for a vertical lift over 5 feet

    Thanks for the video.
    I ordered that pump today.
    The pump will be under a utility sink, with washer draining into sink, and shower floor drain routed to low level inlet of pump.
    Would it be possible to show the upper part of your vent not shown in the video?

    Ray i'm curious about the vent pipe? Does it have to go all the way to the roof? Also i'm looking at purchasing this pump to avoid using my septic tank. The washer is putting a strain on my septic system. Also if I use a diverter valve can I get away with not utilizing a vent if i'm going around my entire septic system . I will be pumping the gray water into my garden. Thanks for your help.

      Thanks for the feedback. I can’t answer those questions. You have to evaluate your own situation and building codes in your area. Also take account the distance. I would recommend going to the manufacturer website for more Information on installation of this product. Good luck 🍀

      @UNSHACKED if you intend to use it with a washing machine, you should know that it did NOT work with our HE top load washing machine and other people have had the same issue. It’s supposed to be able to pump up to 18 gallons per minute, but the inlets are only 1.5”. HE machines need a 2” drain pipe because the flow rate is so much higher than older machines.
      I’m not sure if you need a vent, but at my old house our washer did not drain into our septic, but it had it’s own drain field, and it was not vented.
      Hope that helps!

    Hello thanks for sharing. If you are only using this pump to expel water from a sink, do you need to use a vent pipe? Thanks

    • @DIYRAY
      @DIYRAY  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the feedback and please remember to subscribe and like the video. To answer your question, It would be ideal to vent to the outside. But i my case I join my to my Existing waste pipe which is already been vented. Also I have a vent pipe with a amzn.to/3vdysMZ attached to it.

      Thank you for your prompt response. I intend to use the pump under a sink in my laundry room that only has one drainage hole above the washing machine. Also The sink will not be heavily used for example. Without major construction there is nowhere to place the vent pipe other than to the ceiling of the room or beneath the sink itself -if that is possible. I thought about the window but when it gets cold what am I going to do etc… So I have to focus more on the vent pipe with the Dual Seal20 AAV that you suggested in the link. I plan to put straight in air along the wall to the ceiling. Thank you a ton for that because I did not know what valve to buy and the internet was not helpful etc. I will order it tonight. thanks again.

    Do you have the washing machine hooked up directly to the pump?

    • @DIYRAY

      Thanks for the question. No I don’t have it hooked up to the pump. I have my outlet going into a Utility sink. From the sink is hooked up to the pump. Please remember to subscribe and like the video.

    Hey man does thing have an adjustment at what point it begins to eject? Mine is leaking around the top.

    • @DIYRAY
      @DIYRAY  3 года назад

      If it’s leaking you have a problem. It will automatically kick in if it’s working properly. Thanks for the feedback and please remember to subscribe to the channel and like the video. Good luck. Also you should have a shut off Valve before the unit turn it off so no more water can get to it. It may have to be replace.

    • @devinbowley4314
      @devinbowley4314 3 года назад

      @@DIYRAY it actually does eject automatically, but since it leaks at the top i feel it is getting too full before it knows to eject. Is there a way to adjust that?

    • @DIYRAY
      @DIYRAY  3 года назад

      It should eject the water before it fills up. If it’s filling up before it kicks in, the flow of water going into it it’s coming in too fast. Try to slow down the flow rateGoing into the system.
