@@grumpsrides6074 They say it because of its power and because of how angry they say it is. Many people say that you should start with the 390 ADV and then move up to this model. How true is that?
@ludwingcordova2908 probably a good idea to start on a 390, but, it all depends on your own abilities and if you can control your own excitement. There's no reason, in my opinion, why you shouldn't go for the 790, it only goes as quick, as you open the throttle! Maybe start on a smaller bikeis more sensible?! I'm no expert, it's really up to you. If you can, try both first, see which one you feel most confident on? Just my opinions though.....
You can limit the power on it electronically. You can also ride it in rain mode, which is relatively mellow, until you build up confidence. Overall, it is a very easy bike to ride, as long as you are 175 cms (5"10') or more. I own a 790, and I also own a heavy Triumph Commander cruiser, the 790 is so intuitive and fun to ride. New riders just need to take it easy on the power.
@@grumpsrides6074 I might have a look sometime. I know clicktronic were popular with NABD for conversions for amputees etc. But not used anything modern. Definitely something to watch for in the future.
Nice one grumps, enjoyed that
Thanks 🙂
And thanks for the feedback and support 👍
You are very lucky to have that motorcycle. Congratulations.
Would you recommend that bike as a first bike for a newbie?
I don't see any reason, why its not suitable as a first bike.

Glad you like your bike. The quickshifter sounds good. Is it down shifting part of it (I've never used one).
Oh yes, up and down.
It blips the engine for you, on downshifts 🙂
@@grumpsrides6074 that's cool. Would help with my hand in time.
@ladyjrider666 definitely.
You can retro fit one.
Healtech do them, not sure about your bike though?!
