St Mary Le bow Bells - ULSCR

A couple of clips of the ringing (by ULSCR and friends) from my penultimate practice as master of the University of London society of change ringers. The first clip is if some stedman cinques, and the second of some Bristol during a touch of spliced s maximus (Bristol, zanussi, Phobos). The sound control was open and I was by the door, hence why they sound more like they do outside than in!

I love Bow I think they are the nicest 12 in London.
My dad and Bill Theobald hung bow bells in 1961 and I can remember going up to see him , I was only 8.
The sound control is very effective and its nice when you can hear them out in Cheapside..
Dad also hung the old Cornhill 12. I think they were shockers
