- Another RPG Maker MV & MZ parallax timelapse / speed mapping video!
Fitting for the end of the year and new year I thought I'd go with a winter theme and add some fireworks! :3
I tried photobashing for the first time and it was fun. I also played around with parallax scrolling, which I want to try more often.
Btw, this is all done with a mouse, so you don't even need a graphic tablet for something like this!
I wish you all the best for 2023!
Music from EpidemicSound.
Das ist total cool und schön.
It's interesting to see how it comes together
the fun thing about being an artist is that I can actually follow and understand your process, Ill use this insight into my own photobashing pieces for my set pieces in the future!
Magnificent!
your blending game is on point !
Thanks!
You Are The Legend
This is beautifully done!
Thank you!
You’re such a wonderful artist! I’m currently in the planning stages of an indie game with some friends and your videos are very inspiring. Thanks for the great videos.
This looks wonderful. 🎇🎉
Thank you!
You are amazing!
My favorite so far.
More photobashing!
Wow👏
This is spectacular!!! How does this compare timewise with your other methods? This seems like it could be a huge time saver for very large parallax maps.
It doesn't make much of a difference time-wise. It's always down to how much detail is on the map, and how much small items you have to place/arrange, and how much painter-over is involved overall. This one had more editing and paint-over than one using FSM tiles, so yeah... :)
Please show how you got that big beautiful scene into the game, please please
How did you make the falling snow thingy? 😭
It’s so hard to get galv to work for me for some reasons on MZ. It will always give me an error…😅 it’s what’s stopping me from doing something more …
I’ll keep trying ….
could be a conflict with another plugin. Turn them all of, see if the error stays. If it's gone, it's a conflict with another plugin... so turn one after the other back on and see which one is the cause.
can someone send a link to a paralax mapping plugin?
I have them linked under my parallax map tutorial :) but here you go MV version of galv's layer graphics galvs-scripts.com/2015/10/30/mv-layer-graphics/ and here for MZ galvs-scripts.com/2020/08/24/mz-layer-graphics/
I've spent the better part of the last year experimenting with exactly this, but I've mostly been using Midjourney and other AI sites, which is better in the sense that the images you end up with are totally original (and inexpensive), but the downside is that more than 90% of what gets generated simply doesn't fit what I had in mind, and I can easily spend hours "rolling the dice" before I find something I'll actually use... And even then I'll probably have to edit it in Photoshop a bit, to make it blend in with the rest of the scene. I'm sure that will improve a lot as time goes by, but for now I'm spending quite a bit of money on assets that are more "out-of-the-box" usable. I hadn't really thought of trying any of the website you've mentioned tho, so thanks for the tips!
you dont own the copyright for ai generated images, anyone is legally allowed to use your maps for themselves
@@lumik.l4693 Same can be said for stock images... But in the case of AI, first they would have to identify and isolate the parts that are made of AI, and I seriously doubt anyone could ever accomplish that because we're not required to specify any of that in the game's credits; They would risk copying something I made myself, which could result in them getting sued. And I have to wonder if there are still going to be some grey areas in situations where we take elements from AI and then highly edit them ourselves -- like, what if I create a character or background that's only 10% AI-generated, and the rest is my own work?
Ultimately I don't really care that much, because my story and writing skills are unparalleled, and totally original --so nobody is getting their hands on the parts of my game that actually matter. And I had even planned on making a lot of my original assets available for other people - after my own game is finished - as a kind of "thank you" for all the content that's been provided to me by various other creators.
Even though I totally understand the necessity of copyright laws to protect people's financial dues for their own hard work, they honestly seem like more of an impediment to creativity in a lot of ways, and I imagine that if we ever get forced into some WEF "own nothing" scheme then perhaps one benefit is that copyrights will no longer be necessary. But for now, that's only a fantasy...
불꽃놀이 애니메이션은 어떻게 rpg maker에서 적용시키는지 알려주실 수 있나요?? ㅜ
Could you tell me how to apply fireworks animation on RPG Makers MV?
..pleaseㅠㅠ
(I don't speak English very well..)
I used a plugin called yanfly grid-free doodads and made the firework animation myself.
@@starlitcastle wow thank you😂 i will try this...!
@@hoying_ttabi I hope it works!
